Lol u are at the place i was years ago when i too was impressed by this imposter. Dont get all riled up by his factual analysis, he says two things right n slips in one wrong, that is his modus operandi. I told u he is against Pakistan, shouldnt that be enough for u to doubt him? I lost interest in this idiot when i gauged his anti Pakistan views. He also slandered against a turkish muslims scholar and implied that he is a womanzier without any evidence in one of his lectures, that is the sort of man he is.

So I actually know this guy very well. He had a lot of support back in the late 90s and early 2000's when he was a student of Dr. Israr Ahmad and active in NYC at that time. He was an excellent and captivating speaker.

He only ever gave speeches on two topics: Dajjal and Riba, nothing else. When masajid goers complained about him, Dr. Israr Ahmad told him to widen his expertise into other areas of Islam, but instead of taking that advice, he split from Tanzeem (Dr. Israr's organization) and left the US.

Now he is in Trinidad (his native country) and was still fairly mainstream until recently when he started making links with the Russian government and Russian orthodox priests, whose cause he now champions to the detriment of Pakistanis and Turks. No doubt he probably holds ill feelings for Pakistan due to his falling out with Tanzeem.

He definitely is anti-Pakistan, especially as he opposes the Pakistani army whom he called as not shuhadah if they fall in battle and even called them a kaffir army. For Turks, he views the entire identity of Turks as suspect and false Muslims who, according to him, needlessly conquered Istanbul and furthered Islam into Europe and Caucasus angering his Orthodox patrons.

These are all very niche opinions, and heterodox to the rest of the Muslim world. He is probably the only one who espouses such things.

Even then, his past books on Dajjal, Israel, KSA, Riba, and Imam Mahdi are great and authentic. I own most of his material from the late 90s and it is a great resource. Therefore, i still respect him as an Islamic scholar and can somewhat understand his mission to bridge the divide between Russia and Muslim countries.

Pakistan and Turkey have been a thorn in Russian ambitions for a long time, hence his anger at them.

He openly curses the ottoman calpihate for waging war against Russians. This shiekh has lost his way. As is said i too was impresed by his works at first as he has a knack of bieng convincing but the moment he startrd bashing the turks i started doubting him and then he committed that sacrilige, the one which i can never forgive, doubting Pakistan.

His interpretations of Islamic eschatology are too deviant, I don't listen to him.

His idea of muslim villages advocates that muslims should abandon the world and go live like hippies unconcerned and unbothered about the fate of the world. He is an equal of those street mullahs who have destroyed Islam by separating daily life from religion which has resulted in muslims just practicing 5% of Islam that is namaz rooza and shunning the other 95% which is how to conduct themselves in life and in dealings with this world. He just has a different mote modern way of saying it but he is just another street mullah.

We already have whole nations, more than 50 of them. What we need is to start taking islam as a way of life as it was intended rather than just a religion.

But that would mean alienating themselves from the greater society which would breed suspicions and hatred towards muslims in those areas. Take europe or the US for instance, it is due to muslims integrating and carving out a place in those societies that an overwhelming number of people have converted to Islam uptil now. Islam is something to be introduced to non muslim majority societies not hidden away in muslim exclusive villages.

He does not hate Pakistan or Pakistanis. He just wishes they actually followed Islam authentically. He disagrees with Allama Iqbal's view that the Republican State can be an authentic substitute of Khilafa. He studied in Pakistan under a Pakistani teacher whom he loved dearly. He even worked in Pakistani as the headteacher of his institute for a short while.

He is correct that Muslims ought to condemn the oppression by Muslims. I disagree with him, in the sense he blames the Mughals for the oppression when Muslim dynasties before them committed oppression. I think he also needs to read up more on their history as many 'Hindus' fought in defence of the Mughals against rebellious Muslims. It seems he also things that Mughals expanded Islam into India, when it was Muslim dynasties that did this centuries before the Mughals existed.
It seems that Sheikh sees 'Hindus' as monolithic and this is what the RSS has achieved in Bharat. They have exaggerated the oppressions to generate further ill feeling towards Muslims for their eschatological purposes. I wish he would learn more about this....but he is right from a strategic P.O.V, Muslims need to build bridges between those 'Hindus' who have no intrinsic hate for Muslims vs those 'Hindus' who cannot accept that 'Hindus' of old accepted Islam and went their way. If this can be done that a lot can be achieved...
The RSS after the (re)creation of Bharat by the British, are trying to now foster a monolithic view on 'Hindus' something that has not really existed at least for two millennia. If we feed into this, like what some Muslim rulers of India (Subcontinent) have done at times, we will be helping the RSS.

By the way he was very impressed with the Pakistani government's diplomacy regarding the Bharati attack and capture of their pilot. This is the strategy that we need to adopt more often...

Regarding him leaving the Tanzeem, it was not just he was told to expand his area (by the way it is not wrong to be a specialist in one or two fields), he was told not to publicly speak on Gog and Magog and Dajjal by Dr Israr. It was this 'gagging' that caused him to regretfully leave as he felt it his duty as an Islamic scholar to educate his people on these most important of topics.

It burns us when he exposes our shortcomings. This is not to say that he expects us to agree with his opinion unless we are convinced of him being correct. Also he makes mistakes as he himself admits.

Except that he does not say become hippies and be unconcerned with the world...this is just your interpretation of what he says....he is thinking strategically....long term... the Muslim village is where you can practice Islam most fully and raise your children properly so when they become of age they can deal with the "modern world" in a dynamic yet orthodox manner....
