I always call them thugs because their top thug Gen Dostam is banned by Kabul's biggest ally America due to his abuse of human rights. the reason why he doesnt get much attention is that he doesnt support a beard on his face otherwise his brutality is no less than the Daesh or Afghan taliban.
The ANA and NDS have played a crucial part in delaying peace talks. They blame us but they were the ones that happily released that mullah omar is dead resulting in the breaking of the murree peace talks which would have surely ended the voilence we have witnessed in 2015 and 2016 in afghanistan.
You are absolutely right to call them thugs. A uniform doesnt change who you are. Reverse the situation and he would moving like the taliban. Dostum is war criminal who has wiped out villages of pashtuns and has perpetrated war crimes of henious nature. He and some in the ANA are no different than ISIS and taliban. They are all war lords. I am sure you must have read the accounts of american soldiers who watched as these ANA soldiers kept little boys chained to their beds for rape. How is this any different to the ISIS who buy women at their slave markets and keep them and rape them? Even USA couldn't support his visit and they are funding him and his force.
interesting part is that no assassinations of these Afghan taliban take place in UAE and UAE is never blamed but when same guys come over to Pakistan for next round of talks they face the assassination attempts by those who are hell bent to show this as Pakistan's complicity in the Afghan taliban war on Kabul.
and the Americans have also started to follow this folly and decided that they will continue drone war and run the peace negotiations at the same time.. only to realise that this resulted in an endless spiral of violence with no results in their favour and Daesh quietly but surely established its foothold in Afghanistan.
They are sitting at their offices in Qatar yet Qatar gets zero flak. We have afghans blaming us left and right yet Qatar has an office where their leadership not only resides but uses it as a platform to reach out to China and Russia and pakistan but nobody bats an eye. That's a damn government in exile!! Why doesnt afghanistan ask them to shut the office and hand them over but thats actually taking a positive step. They are only interested in pakistan. Since inception they were against us and 70 years later nothing has changed. They are still against us.
What i cannot understand is that afghanistan has a thousand issues ranging from sectarianism to extremism to extreme ethnicism yet they are obsessed with pakistan.
The americans droned the most pro peace taliban mansour. The new leadership is not interested and they are gaining ground. They will not be interested in talks. Just yesterday they bombed bagram where four americans died. They are targeting foreign forces and has anybody asked what mansour was doing in Iran. No. Nobody is interested there.
I am quite frankly convinced that america doesn't want peace. Since march the ANA has lost 3% territory and has suffered 15000+ casualties amongst which were 5500+ fatalities. 2200+ coming since august. This is not a game. You can't play experiment experiment . people are dying yet america continuous with this half passed policy. Either leave or bring more troops and retake the 38% lost territory.
They thought they could support TTP aka ISIS against us only to realize that these monsters can't be controlled and now they can't handle them. Its only after continous ISIS attacks that they have started to target them along with their allies TTP.

Understandable. As I said that its far easier to blame pakistan. You can be smart as hell but the prejudice and hatred cannot be combatted. Even on this thread you see one indian posting rubbish about false flag only to get self satisfaction, the other went into a ranting spree about Kashmir and betrayal and evil China. The third one about improvement was not bad from his point of view. Point is that we often make our minds set about things and don't change. Its the exact same thing here.
they will never say that these attacks are the result of the spillover from middle east sectarian/ religious war
or the war b y the opportunists in the religious grab who are benefiting due to the war on terror chaos and American invasion of Afghanistan
or point at countries that might be using these groups against Pakistan (in the same spirit Pakistan is blamed.. but no blame has to be one sided with unique set of rules).
If they say this then they won't be able to bash pakistan or pakistan army. They won't blame america who invaded Afghanistan disposing the Taliban and starting a 16 year war which has become a continuous of a 40 year war and the result is only deaths and deaths and more deaths yet nobody blames that super power.
They invade Iraq without any plan resulting in the madness of sectarian war ( what else did they expect. A civil war was of course going to happen. The sunni and shia and Kurds were going to fight especially with rivals like Iran, turkey and Arabs). Hundreds of thousands dying yet nobody blames them. Not learning anything that super power supported terrorists openly in the world!!! In Syria to dispose another regime and in Libya and now we have madmen slaughtering people everywhere and the middle east is burning and if you ask them and these analysts. They will say they are bringing peace.
Oh no. Their support is justified. Everybody can use and uses good and bad terrorists but we are blamed openly with such shameless hypocrisy that its nauseating.
The rules are so different that the English said that they will use nuclear bombs in time of defence and nobody even looked and when nisar said that and everybody was screaming and calling it irresponsible. The rules are always unique for us.
