My recommendation would be to restrict new members to members section for first 300 posts and before allowing them to post on other subforums mods should look into quality of his posts

Every new member should be required to enter their Father's name.
If they want to troll and make fake IDs, then they will also have to change father's name.

New members shouldnot be allowed on threads where people are discussing local or international political and strategic issues

I like that idea. Just don't let them into pak related matters until proven genuine interest.

then they will keep track of their banned and unbanned multiple ids as , pehlay pita ji wali id, doosray pita ji wali id, teesray pita ji wali id...so on and on.

A 100 posts should be enough for new recruits..300 for suspects..

I have a different way of looking at it to be honest guys.

Why ban anyone at all?

It only increases work for the admins. Guys who want to come back, will come back.

The way to handle someone disagreeable is to ignore and boycott him.

Trolls thrive on attention. On riling people and seeing the fun.

Deprive them of that soil water and oxygen and they will either behave and conform or they will eventually go away on their own to someplace where their trade is appreciated.

No serious discussion happens in the member area ........ and I think the post counter also doesn't tick there.

Why not ask every new member to open a thread on anything that he / she considers of interest? .... a thread based on the member's own thoughts and not some copy pasted material. Check the quality of member, his character and ability by affording him an opportunity of being read first.

Only verified id's like dhara, those Dutch guys speeder 2 and sinopakfriends and that German gutterdueng or something and certified non speaking tamilians like kvpak and certified Indians like proud antinational hero and ashok786 should be allowed to post.

If the concern is quality of posting, then the people complaining on the thread make a great case.

Multi-IDs trolls disrupts, litter, and are generally pests.

They disrupts by making one liner posts that generally contains insults, which pretty much qualifies as littering, which makes them nothing more than pests.

High quality posts requires a lot of mental prep work and keyboard time.

New members should be limited to X post count within a 24 hrs period for Y days. A newbie can post anywhere and anytime he/she want, only that the post count is limited. Within that probationary period, the admin staff can review post quality to determine if the new member can be a positive contributor. If the person is serious, that high quality will be quickly evident. The admin staff can remove the restriction before the probationary period end. It is unlikely that a troll with multiple IDs will devote serious study to multiple issues and make high quality posts per ID just to get pass that probationary period. Trolls are not that matured in character traits.

Restrict newbie to the multimedia sections at first. After 500 posts, their status to be delegated to foreign sections. After 2000 posts, then allow the newbie-will-be-seasoned-by-then to participate in the Pakistan sections. Senior cafe should be left alone to members with 5000 posts and above along with the reputation of maturity in status.
