It's not a conclusion just my assumption that they prefer a separate state instead of merging with Pak or India. Because give the history they had chances to side with Pakistan but they did not?

your posting style was nothing short of conclusion

The majority of the Kashmiris from IoK wants independence. They don't want to be a part of Pakistan or India at all. they want to be a sovereign state having their own identity.

I would ask you to plz post your thoughts in better style
