Birds are random..they may pose a threat to low level Acft.. but are of zero value except as wildlife for standoff weapons, high alt GBU's.. etc.

Such experiments sound silly but can be practical like Bat bomb - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, though it failed
Israeli F15s are white elephants and can be targeted by Iran SAMs very easily , so the option left for them is flying low and evading radar .
