In tents we huddle, cold and alone,
Drinking our coffee, made from hot snow.
We take handouts from Beijing with glee,
Grateful for our daily cup of hot tea.

But on Tuesday we'll have a yummy treat,
The last of the birds, oh so sweet.
And we'll sit in our tents, sipping our snow,
Wondering where all the good times did go.
