A question to Pakistani posters. Are you proud of Pak alliance wit China?

I wonder if Pakistani posters are still proud of Pakistan's alliance with China, and China as an ally after having learned about China and the Chinese ways in detail from this forum.

So is Pakstani-Chinese alliance a pride and the jewel of Pakistan, or a just partnership of inconvenience in a desperate time that Pakistan would be happy to ditch if things got better for Pakistan?

i'm not from pakistan but come on, every country looks for their strategic interests. At the moment pakistan's strategic interests seem to converge with that of China and thus the resulting good relationship.

Just like how Korea's interests coincide with the US and thus you love USA, pakistan people will also like china. Its normal.

Mind it, but either you are under informed or you have a biased opinion, because pakistan is not relying on anyone for its protection, we have enough to answer any threat, we may not have expensive toys but we do have the will. although there are some who have secrect protection agreements with pakistan.but thats another story.

Pakistan need China not to protect themselves from India but because of delusions of taking over India.. There are loads of people in Pakistan who wants to cut India into pieces and then win over it and for that they think China will help them..

i am supposed to say this that china has always remained sincere with pakistan, it has always been open to us, we pakistanis realise our potential but we have always been even worse than african nations, i thank china for tolerating pakistanis, and its like one way traffic to strengthen this relationship that china has been supportive

its a fact that generous china makes this relation look like some strong relationship but its always remained a fact that pakistan is getting too low, china is sincere in helping pakistan but its pakistanis themselves who want to take advantage of china, for example or very pathetic beggar president asked china for aid, and china vey secretly and calmly refused

so china is holding dignity of pakistan rather than pakistan itself and to equate pakistan with brotherly relationship when pakistan is oing to become a beggar nation and china a super power, its very generous of china

china pakistan relationship is like a jackie chan movie where his brother his very stupid like a 2 year old IQ but he always tries to protect and care for his idiot brother, and he knows that his brther is a burden on him, but at the same time realise that its his moral duty to protect him and has very brotherly attachment to him

i hope one day pakistan become such a mature country to true utilise and honour this higher than K2 relationship

Ofcourse... we are proud of our Chinese friends... China has won the hearts and minds of Pakistanis, and have been a true friend always...and they never boast about it.. I think Pak China friendship should be a model to follow, for other countries, where 2 countries have always genuinely respected each other and supported each other...and there hasnt been a single major dispute in 60 yrs, ..thts quite a remarkable achievement, for 2 neighbors... Besides Pak, i absolutely love China and also Turkey... I always wish for the success for China and Turkey always, other than Pakistan..
