Are U sure ??? I have checked 10 times . After Government , Catholic Church have the 2nd largest land owning .An interesting name to feature in this list is the Catholic Church. Apparently, the religious institution owns the largest portion of India's non-agricultural land.

Indian army owns a stretch of land that runs through 12 kilometers right from MG road to the old airport in Bangalore of prime real estate of e.g. worth of that real estate is probably more worthy than a small country - they have multiple lakes and airports in their properties right in the heart of the city . The same is the case with navy Nagar in Colaba - Mumbai that runs into hundreds of acres of prime sea front real estate that's worth thousands upon thousands of crores. You can cite similar examples of every city where defense has a presence.

No. It is daan. Kerala had many ports from ancient times. People from generations have prayed to God and have prospered due to trade. As a token of gratitude they had donated to the shrine.

I've been to that Temple and palace on a tour when i was 10.. and the story seems to be little true.. Yes there's treasure but not the level of 1 trillion.. and yes many of the treasures were stolen by the wealthiest/powerfull family who is charge there.
