Every dream has an end...No matter how nice the dream might be, or how scary it is. Under your warm blanket, the dream comes to an abrupt end, when mother shakes you awake. Forever and ever, the morning scene remains the same. But now I... I wonder... when the dreams began to never end.

I won't vote but news looks awesome.
It is hard to believe but if true, government should immediately take on the treasure.
Bullet Train ka kharcha nikal jayega. :enjoy:

Travancore was a very small kingdom in it's earlier times. Marthanda Verma annexed to create Travancore unifying central and south Kerala regions which were ruled by kings or chieftains to a period of around 250 years till joining Indian union. During Travancore rule, only Trivendrum and nearby regions flourished while hefty taxes are levied upon north Travancore for e.g which was infamous for poverty. Those Treasures carry the sweat of poor people who were his subjects and were taxed mercilessly all the way from Nanjilnadu to parts of present Kochi region.

Travancore rule - the rule of Tamil Iyers, Nairs and Nambudiris...rest all grew out of their own sheer hard work. Land was gifted by the Rajahs to Nambudiris or to some Nairs. There is no scope for growth for Syrian Christians and other progressive communities under Travancore. For Eg. Thachil Mathu Tharakan was a famous businessmen who was destroyed by so called patriot Velu Thampi Dalava looting all his assets. - Ancient Chaddi -ism , Majority bias against minority - like what we see right now under RSS-BJP rule. Even Hindus are counted from Nairs and upwards. Chovvan(Ezhava) and others are considered Adhakruta and this taboo still survive in the minds of forward castes in Kerala till today. 7th century arrival of Aryan Nambudiris in Kerala created one of the worst caste system existed in India.

All this chest thumping on ancient rulers and history is pure hogwash. They all be it Tipu Sultan or Shivaji - brutual marauders who survived in biased history to earn followers. Tipu - Muslim favourite and a wanna be south Indian Aurangazeb "alamgir"!, Shivaji- Chaddi favourite for Hindu nationalism - that's the difference.

The treasure in Padmanabhaswami temple is unlikely to be worth 1 trillion
The figure at most would be 80 Billion USD

It's more likely that gold held in all Indian Temples is worth 1 trillion
Many Temples in southern and Western India have more gold than Reserve Bank of India

.
Hooray, with these treasures india can finally feed the billions of indian suffering from extreme hunger.

LOL..... is this how christians Supremacist like you spin their own history and create propaganda ?

Kerala was so bad for "minorities" that syrian christians came running into kerala seeking refuge :cheesy: ....... so bad that Jews came running into kerala seeking refuge :P .......so bad that Arab muslim men came and stayed back in kerala after marrying local girls giving rise to the term "mopalla" which comes from "mapilla" i.e Son-in-law

Kerala was so bad for minorities that a syrian christian Thachil Mathu Tharakan was made commerce Minister by the Hindu Raja  ...... by the same Dharma Raja who defeated Tipu sultan.

Yup, we can ALL see the difference. Thank you for helping me show it to the world.
