A motorcyle hit by a american embassy car in Islamabad

Care to name incidents in Pakistan where mob justice has prevailed? And after that, I'll name the ones in India. I'm sure you know who the 'winner' is (hint: India again)? So please, speak for yourself.

Do you really want to make this a contest? You very well know what the ground reality is and if you are not aware, then you haven't been in touch with the reality.

I don't think you should talk about things you know very little about. When there is some kind of car/motorcycle accident in Pakistan, in most cases, only the two persons who had their vehicles damaged get into a fight (if they are uneducated or poor), while other people on the road & surrounding areas gather & watch/enjoy the spectacle. Some people try to intervene between the 2 persons. Hardly a mob. Then someone calls the police, & the police separate the two parties involved & resolve their issues. The persons involved take their vehicles to the police station, the police decides who was at fault, & asks that party to pay for the other party's damages. It doesn't matter who is rich & who is poor, the guilty party pays up to the other one. This isn't what you call a mob, is it?

When did I say that there is always a mob to settle things. What I am trying to say is that there is always a "risk" of a mob justice in these cases especially after the recent incidents.

Not saying that what he did is the right thing to do, but again it does not discredit the fact that under such cirsumstances, I can very well imagine why he took the step.

Hit & run is a crime, there are no justifications for it. There are no mob justices in Pakistan for these incidents, the matter would have been taken to the police station & handled from there. The police being corrupt is another issue. After the Raymond Davis incident, this could have been a dreadful experience for the American, I agree. But it is only a coward, & someone who can't man up to his own mistakes that hits & runs. Again, it's no justification. Hit & run is a crime whichever country you're in, it has different penalties/punishments though. He was careless. He severely injured 3 people, & this shows his extreme carelessness. Islamabad is better than most world class international cities in terms of traffic & traffic rules, the best city in South Asia. People follow traffic rules in Islamabad. Just shows the guy was extremely careless, not because he was having trouble adjusting to a 'South Asian" city.

come on khurasan, here on the internet people are issuing death penalty for the american side withouting knowing the full truth, imagine what would have happened to that american if he had stayed on the site of the accident? he would have been killed with no hesitation by the peoople.

Don't assume.........read the full story........he was finally stopped by people.....did the story tell about any mob justice?

. .
Mostly , people fled away from the accident place. Thats what the American has done.

. .
if i was an american, i would have done the same thing---run off after the accident, my fault or not my fault, i would have gone.

but it doesnt happen in USA riht, run off after hitting some vehicle from the back???

.
if i'm not wrong this thread was about an American hitting a biker.. now all what i see is indians & pakistanis hitting each other, while the american is no where to be seen....lol

.
Looks like minor incidence, but after Davis case, people think they can get Americans arrested for anything.
