Looks like the military has vowed that they are NOT going to overthrow the government as takeover just because people are demanding so. The same people who ask Pak Army to take over later on change their stance and start abusing millitary so Pak Army has decided to let the people of Pakistan enjoy democracy as much as possible while Pak Army will assist the nation from sidelines as much as possible or when called upon. If Pak Army wanted to takeover, they would have done that a long time ago.

Pakistan has tested both Parliamentary democracy and Military Dictatorship. Therefore, the people should now test a technocratic government setup under Presidential style of government (the Quaid-e-Azam suggested) after cleansing the system from corrupt, incompetent and useful idiots. Enough with this to and fro between Parliamentary democracy and Military Dictatorship. Instead of changing faces, change the system or else keep picking up dead bodies of near and dear ones.

you are quite right but in past military has done huge damage to pakistan. they are equally responsible when compared to politicians for the present condition of pak if not more. dont portray military as bunch of angels . subtract the 3 yrs of raheel sharif and then you will find military and politicians equally dangerous to pakistan.

because these institutions are all laced with political nooras. Judiciary too, look at the state of affairs in our courts. Orders are written after asking the culprits what to write. As an institution only armed forces is the one which is lesser of the evil. I in no way defend the wrong doings by the uniformed persons, therefore used to word lesser of the evil.

When the threat of indian terrorism is so high why intelligence groups are handling it lightly? Quetta carnage should've been a wakeup call that enemy has ill designs for CPEC projects.
