BYD achieved over 50,000 monthly sales of EVs in July, and is keeping rolling out new models: the first car build on BYD's 3rd Gen platform, the Dolphin (EA1):
Surprisingly this 100,000+ $ luxury EV from a new start-up company (whose founder has some connection to the Faraday Future) achieved close to 500 monthly sales in July:

The modern EVs now have sufficient range, thanks to the advance in battery technology. However, how is the charging infrastructure now?

I don't think we have to worry about the charging facilities at least for China, as millions of charging piles have already been built:
I think when EVs become mainstream in this decade, tens of millions of charging facilities will be established to meet the demand.
For now, there is no problem driving long distances (1000+km) across the country except for the very remote regions, as the service area along the highways all have a good amount of fast charging piles for EVs to get recharged.
