Still need more opinions on this?
Denial of reality is strong with this crowd.

The issue is that you're an expat. While that doesn't invalidate your opinion in the slightest my solicitation is to see how widely shared (or admitted) your opinion is among Pakistanis themselves.Still need more opinions on this?

Pakistans system has naturally evolved over time, we saw great progress under Musharraf and PPP (I despise them so im only speaking from a legal perspective), that momentum has stagnated naturally under a traditionalist/conservative government but its clear that Pakistans system has changed a lot even in the last 10 years.
Maybe under a new govenment in 2018 we will see even more progress, so its good to be optimistic.
What has been "natural" about it, exactly?Pakistans system has naturally evolved over time -
Oh yes, especially since not everyone I've solicited has replied or replied at length.Do you still need more opinions, eh @Solomon2 ?
The "Presidential Democracy" would have what features, exactly? Checks and balances like the American system? Secular or "Islamic"? Would it operate only via laws or also outside of them, as Pakistan currently does? How would control of the armed forces work? And the legal system - would there be room for Urdu, Sindhi, Pasto, etc. or would it still be all in English? We have yet to try a genuine Presidential Democracy. Make voting compulsory for all 18+.
This Parliamentary Democracy is not for us ...
We should adopt this. This intellectual minority has the same four choices the other minorities have: conform, adapt, leave, or die. Any deviation from the prescribed thoughts is simply not possible.

Oh, and @Verve? Today might be a good day to recall Jinnah's Fourteen Points.
