Oppo is already a very well known brand, their Find series has been well received by the consumers.

Well you can see with the comparison pic with the iPhone5 (odd they didn't compare with the thinner iPhone6) that the plug for the headphone jack is a limiting factor.

THE Oppo certainly have thought about that problem before on the market , your question is spare because one company could be not stupid that level :-) .

Oppo's 4.85mm-thin R5 claims slimmest LTE smartphone crown (hands-on) -CNet

Android fans envious of the iPhone 6's slim frame need to look no further. Oppo's latest R5 and its ultra-slim 4.85mm-body will draw incredulous looks from other smartphone owners. And besides being impossibly thin, the R5 has pretty good specs as well.

For one, the phone sports a 5.2-inch SuperAMOLED full HD display and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It's powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 processor, which offers octa-core performance, though with four big cores and four low-power cores.

It's also set to go on sale globally, though Oppo hasn't yet revealed exact dates. There will be three versions due to the different LTE bands -- one for the US, one for China and one for the rest of the world. The phone is set to hit Australian shores in early 2015. Price wise, the R5 will be sold at $449 (£309, AU$562). It will also come unlocked, so you'll be able to use the phone on 3G mostly everywhere.

Not a bad price , and it looks really good too.

It looks like a cross between Iphone-5 and the Samsung S5. Really nice tho.
