India captured Kargil heights in May 1965 in retaliation for Pak attack in Rann of Kutch

During the Rann of Kutch conflict, these heights were captured by the Indians for the first time on May 17, 1965, for use as a bargaining counter in the negotiations. As a result of the agreement reached, the heights were returned to Pakistan in June 1965. In the first week of August 1965, Operation Gibraltar was launched. One of the areas used by the infiltrating force was the Kargil heights. To block these routes, the Indians captured the heights for the second time in the third week of August 1965. But after the signing of the Tashkent Agreement, the heights were once again returned to Pakistan.

On the outbreak of war on the western front on December 3, 1971, the Indians captured the heights for the third time on December 9, 1971. This time, however, they retained the heights in line with the Shimla Agreement under which the violable Cease Fire Line (CFL), created in December 1948 on cessation of hostilities in Kashmir, was converted into an inviolable Line of Control (LoC), on the basis of actual possession of territory at the time of the ceasefire in December 1971.

Embarrassing for us??? This jeep is the proof how deep we advanced in your Pakistan who attacked India in he ha hu hu style with operation Gibraltar and ended up defending its own major town....

We not only failed your objective, not only defended Kashmir, kutch but we knocked on the doors of your major city and our troops stayed on your soil for more than a week until issue was settled with major powers....

Now this is embarrassment for us or you???
Think keeping your mind peaceful and not as a pakistani but as a layman....
No we didn't attack mainland India and as for operations Gibraltar was not an attack you thinks but its more kind a coup/rebellion attempt by Pakistan SSG and Kashmir was not part of India in 65 but international dispute according to UN

Can i start how many times India trying to destabilized Pakistan from 47

YOU'RE THE BIGGEST MESS/THREAT FOR THE PEACE OF SUBCONTINENT
JAY TERRORIST HIND

Seriously!!!! Your army advanced just before the BRB canal because there was no unit to defend Tehsil Barki as most of our army was tied up north. Here comes Aziz Bhatti Shaheed with his small contingent ,who blow up the bridge over the canal to stop the advance of the Indian Army. The rest is history as your army banged their heads and never managed to cross the BRB canal in the 17 day war HOW PATHETIC.

You didn't have units to defend tahsil barki, your army was tied up these excuses nobody will accept when especially you have initiated war with an objective of capturing Kashmir....

You attacked overconfidently without proper homework is your fault....

You were too high after small kutch skirmish victory and believed that you can bring India to its knees with the help of superior American weapons..... and okay I respect your shahid who protected your city but you should be thankful to those canals too built with Americans help which made our advance difficult.... imagine if that canal wasn't there??? Need I say more???

Your troops staying on Pakistans seems quite similar to how Abhinandan stayed in pakistan airspace. I don't think it is anything to be proud of.. All it means is that we invited you in, you came in thinking tea will be served instead you were used and abused from each end.

Lol you invited us??? No you provoked us and forced us to capture, control your territory from the outskirts of Lahore....

Learn first you attacked India for Kashmir and at the end of the day whole world saw you struggling to defend your own territory.... don't compare that to Abhinandan incident.....

You invaded Pakistani mainland first not Pakistan invaded, Pakistan didn't invaded mainland India at any wars with you, and Kashmir was not part of India at 65, its disputed issue, and Operation Gibraltar was not invasion by Pakistan as you thinks but a kind of rebellion attempts by PA SSG

Another Documentary with good picture quality but no sound till 4.30 min.

CONCLUSION
Although Pakistan's claim was till the 24th parallel, thus giving us an additional 3500sqm of land. The international arbitration made us relinquish our claims. The Rann of Kutch is still India's soft belly and is prone to a major upset if planned effectively.:pakistan:
in middle BBC person went so excited that he starts calling our troops instead of Pakistani troops.

My friend you being Pakistanis can differentiate Kashmir and India but for India any attack with an objective of capturing territory even if it is disputed will be considered as an attack on mainland India.... with that logic you initiated war first.....

So in order to pressurize Pakistan India opened other fronts towards the central and southern Pakistan which doesn't mean we initiated war....
