বিকাশ কলকাতায়

ঢাকা: ১৩ মামলার আসামি ও শীর্ষ সন্ত্রাসী বিকাশ জামিনে ছাড়া পাওয়ার পর স্ত্রীকে নিয়ে ভারতে পাড়ি জমিয়েছেন। তিনি এখন কলকাতায় অবস্থান করছেন।
কারাগারের একটি সূত্র নতুন বার্তা ডটকমকে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে।

সূত্র জানায়, কলকাতা থেকে টেলিফোন করে বিকাশ তার পৌঁছার বিষয়টি ঢাকা কেন্দ্রীয় কারাগারের অধীন কাশিমপুর পার্ট-২-এর জেলার সুভাষ কুমার ঘোষকে নিশ্চিত করেন। একই সঙ্গে কারাগারে তার সঙ্গে সুসম্পর্ক থাকা কারারক্ষীদেরও বিকাশ টেলিফোনে জানিয়েছেন, পরিবার নিয়ে তিনি কলকাতায় পৌঁছেছেন।

সূত্র জানায়, কারাগারে আটক থাকা অবস্থায় তাকে বিভিন্নভাবে সহযোগিতা করায় বিকাশ টেলিফোন করে তাদের প্রতি ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানান।

এদিকে, আইনশৃঙ্খলা বাহিনীকে না জানিয়ে বিকাশের মুক্তির বিষয়ে সংসদীয় কমিটির চাওয়া ব্যাখ্যার জবাবে স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী মহীউদ্দীন খান আলমগীর বলেছেন, ‘বিকাশ ১৫ বছর ধরে জেলে ছিলেন। তিনি আইনি প্রক্রিয়ায় মুক্তি পেয়েছেন। তার বিরুদ্ধে এমন কোনো যথাযথ অভিযোগ নেই যে তাকে আবার গ্রেফতার করা যায়।’

বৃহস্পতিবার বিকেলে সংসদ ভবনে অনুষ্ঠিত স্বরাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় সম্পর্কিত সংসদীয় স্থায়ী কমিটির বৈঠকে কমিটির সভাপতি বিষয়টি উত্থাপন করলে স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এ কথা বলেন।

সূত্র জানায়, বিকাশের বিরুদ্ধে শত অভিযোগ থাকলেও এবং সরকার চাইলেও এখন আর তাকে গ্রেফতার করা সম্ভব নয়। জেল থেকে জামিনে ছাড়া পাওয়ার পর বিকাশ সস্ত্রীক কলকাতায় পাড়ি জমান। সেখানে আপাতত ভাড়াবাড়িতে উঠেছেন বলে ফোনে তার শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের জানিয়েছেন।

এ বিষয়ে জেলার সুভাষ কুমার ঘোষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা হলে তিনি নতুন বার্তা ডটকমকে বলেন, ‘বিকাশ ইন্ডিয়া আছে, না কোথায় আছে, আমি তা জানি না। আমি তো তাকে দাওয়াত করে আনিনি।’ এ কথা বলে তিনি ফোনের সংযোগ বিচ্ছিন্ন করে দেন।

Top terrors’ release threat to public safety

At least 100 top criminals including hardcore terrorist Bikash Kumar Biswas have been released from different jails during the last three months triggering apprehension about public safety throughout the country, informed sources said.

Bikash was freed from Kashimpur jail. The authorities have earlier set free 11 terrorists from Chittagong jail during November last year. Sources in police and intelligence agencies said a section of policy makers is helping them to get bail as they believe that these criminals may be used in future political fights.

Several dozens others are on waiting for release on the same ground, the sources said. A senior official of an influential intelligence agency who is following BIkash case said as far as he knew Bikash has already taken control of the underworld network that handles illegal firearms and ammunition and also engaging in extortion in the metropolis. A ruling party source said they have information that Bikash's patrons

are planning to get release several other criminals from jail. Most of them have multiple cases but many of them have already secured bails in most of the cases against them.But State Minister for Home Affairs Shamsul Haque Tuku however dismissed such opinions and said his ministry is opposed to such bails and has already asked the law enforcing agencies in this regard.

Informed sources however said, killer Abbas is waiting for bail from High Court. Ayisa Aslam, wife of Sweden Aslam is on the way to securing bail. Brother of Sweden Aslam, Zakir is extorting fund and working to bring them out under the cover of highly powerful quarters.
Some top criminals in the waiting for bail at the moment include Sanjadul Islam Imon, VP Helal, Arman, Shahidul Islam Edul, Boma Mukter, Sabur, Ishaq Sarker, Naim Ahmed Titon, Freedom Sohel, Rakibuzzaman, Joseph, Arshad, Hatkata Bakkar, Naimul
Hossain Taj, Lombu Salim and Ibrahim are now in Dhaka central jail and Kashimpur jails, sources said.

Intelligence sources said most of the criminals have close relation with some of the ruling party leaders.

Moreover, criminals who were released on bail from jail in the past several months include Dish Shain, Kayum, Ghuti Babu, Zahin, Rubel, Diver Alam, Computer Sohel, Ramzan and Aslam of Mirpur areas and closed aides of top terrorists Bikash. Omar Faruk at IG gate, Das Uzzal, Mohit allies Mohi at Shampur, Biplop, Pichi Haidar, Monir Hossain, Shamol, Emran, Khoka Ramzan, Erfan Ali, Nurul Islam allies Nura at Dayagoang, Din Islam, Sumon, Hadi, Asraf Udidn, Kokon Kazi, Mohasin, Angul Kata Sumon, Tunda Kasam, Sultan Delwar Dilu, Palash, Kayla Mintu, Nafiz Khan, Liton, Farid, Awlad, Kashi, Dabasis, Basanto, Freedom Mofiz at Saydabad, Pichhi Shadat, at Postogola, Uzzal Dash, CNG Washim, Mamun, Rafiq, Arfan Rahu and Iqbal at Gandaria areas.

The sources said most of them were arrested by RAB for extortion and killing their rivals. But they were able to secure bails from mysterious circumstances, the sources said.

It may be recalled that home minister on November 14 told the Jatiya Sangsad that the President has granted clemency to 21 convicted offenders; of them 20 were on death row during the last three years. The freed persons included Biplob who was killer of Advocate Nurul Islam of Luxmipur. Moreover, presidential clemency was granted to yet another 20 convicted murderers in the recent past.
