Not exactly, the Chinese food abroad is still Chinese food. But, as I said, they are outdated Chinese food that are no longer popular in China, such as the spring roll, sour and hot soap, kungpao chicken. I don't know about the Chinese food in India, but I went to many Chinese resteraunts in US. The taste of the above dishes are very similar to the original Chinese ones, but they also serve fried onion rings, whole roast beef, and salad etc, even pizza. These are not Chinese food, but served in the US for the locals.
