What's new

95% of all Hindu temples in Pakistan have been destroyed or converted since 1990

Does not look like you want to acknowledge anything cause you brought in India at the drop of a hat, shows your bigoted nature.

I was responding to a foolish post made by one of your fellow indians here....nothing to do with bigoted anything

because the world i guess has more common sense than you perhaps......the numbers have changed b/c the growth rate of Muslim families is much higher

That must be some kind of breeding, huh!!! At 30 million total population at partition, Hindu population in Pakistan was 9 million. Now it is less than 3 million. Common sense of course.

WHich makes me wonder , are there Christians or jewish officers in the armed forces and do the public have an such an upbeat enthu about them as well?

One of the top test pilots of the JF-17 Thunder program -- Wing Commander Ronald Felix -- is a Christian. And the Air Force is one of the most celebrated and revered organizations in the entire country.

And yes, we have other minorities in the military too. You know this already, if you've been on this forum long enough.

Some became Muslims, some migrated to other countries, a small number who have family relations across the border migrated there (some of which repatriated, after given hardship) Pakistani Hindus 'unwelcome' in India - Features - Al Jazeera English

1.6% of Pakistan's roughly 190,000,000 are hindus - a little over 3 million. As much as I love statistics, I dont have the facts on this 15 million you are talking about

tell that to the Sikhs, Muslims and Christians that escaped india and took asylum in Canada, Australia and elsewhere

Apart from Khalistani terrorist or Indian Islamist terrorist living in Arab or Pakistan, no one have any type of fear in India. But you cant say same for your country where thousands are forced to leave houses due to fear of life.

Off course, your armed forces have other minorities.Fraction of a fraction is a very small number~ negligible to put it mildly.

One interesting thing is that it want till 2008 that Hindus were not allowed into armed forces, and the first hindu officer in pak army was actually a doctor . Along with token sardar haracharan , were 2 hindu tokens- both of them docs at
Combined Military Hospital.

But yes, i`l give that your air force was far more welcoming in receiving minorities, in particular the christians

India recognizes its problems as well and working on them. A small example is as below to show our commitment and how we are clearing the $hit sent over by a neighboring country in mess..
Over 21000 terrorists killed in Jammu and Kashmir since 1990 - The Economic Times

should read "Kashmiri shouting Azadi calls who were butchered in the process, dumped in mass graves and called ISI-backed infiltrators from Pakistan"

Off course, your armed forces have other minorities.Fraction of a fraction is a very small number~ negligible to put it mildly.

that "fraction of a fraction" example I gave you is the object of envy for many....there were only 3 or 4 test pilots in the entire program. Air Force is part of the same Armed Forces youre talking about

so why your rants?

The founder of Pakistan Mohammad Ali Jinnah promised safety and security to minority communities in Pakistan, and a portion of the Pakistani flag is white represents them. We have a problem with a small very tiny fraction of a fraction of the country. The problem aren't religious minorities. Problem is "religious" extremists who use religion in a bullying fashion rather than humanitarian. The courts are responsible for proving their worth and putting such people behind bars and in cages. We have a ways to go - but SO DO YOU. You should tell your friends here dont make provocative posts here just to troll.

intolerance is problem in whole of sub-continent and actually the greater continent, unfortunately

EDIT: 2 test pilots....not "3 or 4"

I know. Ripples were generated both pre-Babri Masjid and post Babri-Masjid. Thousands of Mandirs destroyed for the last thousand years were all due to Ripple effect.

whoever destroys religious/holy places is a piece of shit, doesnt matter what religion or what structure.....religious sentiments shouldnt be hurt

and Pakistan has destroyed 95% of Hindus religious sites.

Those responsible for these destruction, are they Muslims as per Quran? and how many Muslims hanged by Pakistan for the Blasphemy of Hindu sites?

Those arent my rants , simply my observations and a somewhat muted response to an attempt to generalize and brush off the matter saying- hey even your hands are dirty.
Religious tolerance , is surely a virtue that is present in the middle and upper middle, educated pakistani, to a large extent. However, the bulk of your country men and women, the ones that reside in small villages and small towns with less than desirable standards of education- have the thought of a hindu being the ultimate evil-quite well stamped onto their heads.Reason? Post Jinnah, your state adopted an official line to malign hindus and other minorities as a cause to unite all muslims. How that turned out is for a different debate, a diff fora.
In a very twisted logic to extend the above, a part of my country is synonymous with sexual misconduct. When ever a case of sexual crime is reported, 90% of the times its in that particular area. The reason being a deadly concoction of a ) lack of education and b)the quality of social fabric prevalent in those places, where women, are sadly second beings

In her book, Islam: A Short History, Karen Armstrong asserts that the Kaaba was at some point dedicated to Hubal, a Nabatean deity, and contained 360 idols that probably represented the days of the year.

This is not our belief and in fact many historians have rubbished this already. It is true though that before the rise of Islam you had idol-worshippers, devil/djinn worshippers and other small groups with their own ideals.

From the same Wikipedia page where you copied + pasted your post above, maybe you'll find some accounts of that as well.

The rest of your post is garbage and just goes to show what years of hindutva brain-washing does to the brain

you were on a role until the bold-faced part of your post - which is just a plain lie

Karen Armstrong is one of the most pro Islam writers in the West today. One of the few that exist now, that is.

Dismissing her as Hindutva brainwashing etc is not apt.

Misguided ones. Liabilities.

and how many Muslims hanged by Pakistan for the Blasphemy of Hindu sites?

not enough.....im more angry about it than you should be

Good for her. Doesnt mean I have to agree with her.

read what I was replying to, genius

You say that when tensions in Gujrat are rising now. Just recently thousands of Muslims in Assam had to run for their lives crossing into Bhutan. No need for you to worry about fears of life in Pakistan. Look at your own country.

you were on a role until the bold-faced part of your post - which is just a plain lie
I assume you meant "on a roll"...I somehow can't see why you would suggest that .

Anyhow coming back to your accusation , if you believe what the bold part tried to convey/convince/enforce-upon you is simply not the truth, then lets put an end to the discussion here.

@Abu Zolfiqar I asked 2 questions previously. Can you give some genuine reply. Questions as below,

1) If you insult Islam, Quran asks to give death penalth. What is the penalty given in Quran if a Muslim insults other religion?

2) If you convert from Muslim to other religion, Quran asks to give death penalth. What is the penalty given in Quran for converting from Hindu/SIkh/.Christian to Muslim?

3) If Quran prescribes penalty to Muslims for above two, then which Country or Muslim organisation in world is following Islam as per your opinion?
I ask this because I don't see any country with rules from Quran to penalise Muslims for above crimes (like SA, Pak,Qatar, Iran, Indonesia etc, LET, Mohamed Hafeez, etc).

I added one more question above.

Please post relevent Quote/Hadith (if feasible for you not necessary!!)
