We need to declare a precautionary emergency before this thing explodes.

No minister regardless of sect should be allowed to influence this matter w.r.t border control.

Anyone that came from iran needs to be quarantined.

Further, border travel /air flights from qatar/Iran e.t.c needs to be stopped.

Iran gets plenty of $ from religious tourism. It is time that they foot the bill and quarantine the zaireeen on their side of the border. A legit cost for their govt's stupidity.

Not really. The amendment brought about the following changes.

• The name of the former president of Pakistan, Gen Zia, has been removed from the text of Constitution
• Sarhad (Border)Province has been renamed Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
• The 17th Amendment and Legal Framework Order as introduced by Musharraf has been repealed
• The ban on third time prime ministership and chief ministership has been lifted
• Holding constitution in abeyance is tantamount to high treason
• The Council of Common Interests (CCI) has been reconstituted with the prime minister as its chairperson and the body should meet at least once in 90 days
• A judicial commission will recommend the appointment procedure of superior judges and the final names of judges will be decided by parliamentary commission
• A Chief Election Commissioner will be appointed through consensus between treasury and opposition
• Establishment of Islamabad high court and benches of high courts in Mingora and Turbat
• Recognition of the children's right to education and insertion of a new section under Article 25A to provide constitutional guarantee that state will provide free and compulsory education to all girls and boys up to age 16.
• The power to dissolve the parliament was withdrawn from the President.

The repealing of the 17th is the closest to your assertion since it takes away the power of the governor to dissolve the provincial assemblies but still no where near about provincial autonomy or allowing them to do whatever they wish to.

Also, even if it did, the accusation and the problem is of a minister applying unwarranted political pressure to achieve some thing utterly stupid. Has nothing to do with provincial autonomy.

This is all drama bazi. Virus carriers had been regularly coming in from past 2-3 weeks.
If there was any border control, they would not have been on road.
Immigration employees are 99% zardari appointed. They will not even check their passports, while crossing in and out.
In similar way un-holy state of Iran does not stamp passports at immigration. Pakistan mafia sends a list to Iran electronically and they ask for id to show and that's all.
How can we now identify importers of virus. Such can only happen in banana republic.
We probably have not lost as many people in WoT, as many we risk by importing tourists from Iran and India.

All of them should be booked on charges of conspiring a genocide.
One week ago, I stated this should be on top agenda every where in Pakistan.
People should demand closure of borders with Iran, as every other country of the world has done.
Only and Only Pakistanis are taking in shit from Iran as usual.
Iran is isolated and if Pakistan failed to close border with Iran than Pakistan will also be isolated from world.

Sad because Sindh seems to be using this amendment alot when it comes to certain issues
