2. Lt Gen Tariq Khan appointed Corps Commander Mangla.

Replacement as IG FC not announced yet. Best man for the strike corps.

3. Lt Gen Raheel Sharif appointed Corps Commander, Gujranwala.

Jameel Haider's replacement. Who's going to PMA?

4. Lt Gen Jameel Haider appointed Chief of Army Strategic Force Command.

Absar is retiring next month. Not well acquainted with Jameel Haider's service record. Perhaps somebody else can shed light.

5. Lt Gen Muzammil appointed IG T&E.

Where is Waheed Arshad going?

6. Lt Gen Agha Farooq appointed Chairman NDU.

Where is the current one going? Is he retiring? (President, NDU btw)

7. Lt Gen Zaheer-ul-Islam appointed Corps Commander Karachi.

New man coming into ISI. Let's see who has the COAS' confidence.

8. Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani appointed Quartermaster General.

Any new VCGS?

Transfers probably will be announced shortly. Curious about FC appointments.

Previous QMG made pent shirts necessary in GHQ. lolz. Many GHQ employers first change their dress, then offer Zuhr namaz and then back to pent shirt

I'm just trying to see, if the timing of this event is not too crucial since the appointments are the most crucial ones.

good report, please report as soon as u get who is the next IGFC baluchistan and IGFC kpk. i doubt saad khattak will go for igfc baluchistan!!!!

I believe the promotions were announced a few months back, the real transfers and rank changing would be done now.
