8 Israeli jetfighter engines 'stolen'

. .
Israel's military officials announce that eight Israeli jetfighter engines have been stolen from Tel Nof airbase near Tel Aviv.

A military spokeswoman for the Tel Aviv regime stated on Monday that an inquiry into the theft of the aircraft engines has been launched, AFP reported.

"The military police have opened an inquiry into the matter," said the spokeswoman without further elaborations.

According to news reports, air force officials have asserted that the stolen parts were engines that belonged to F-15 and F-16 aircraft.

The stolen parts were reportedly no longer in use and had most likely been stolen for their value as scrap metal, though Israeli military officials have described the theft as "very serious."

Tel Aviv authorities have reportedly informed US officials of the incident, which, according to some reports, took place when thugs entered the base. However, it is not yet clear how the relatively huge items had been removed without cranes or similar types of heavy equipment.

Tel Aviv has ordered 20 F-35 fighter jets manufactured by US Lockheed Martin Corporation, which provides the Israeli regime with a variety of fighter aircraft, including F-16, F-22 and F-35.
after this drama israeli nukes are indanger of going in more dangerous hand then israel itself.

Nothing was stolen, when a country is on constant alert for any and every possible scenario how can intelligent people actually believe 8 huge engines were stolen and the only source for it is an Iranian news paper...

.
So you feel both the incidents are same!?

well yes in a way both incidents have the same goal so same both caused damage to the respective forces but in our incident there was a lot of bang bang .in Israel they came in and went out quitly

Fighter-jet engines 'stolen from Israeli base'

JERUSALEM (AFP) – Israel's military police on Monday opened an inquiry into the theft of airplane parts, a spokeswoman said without confirming press reports that eight fighter-jet engines had been stolen.

"The military police have opened an inquiry into the matter," she told AFP without giving further detail or confirming reports of the theft from Tel Nof airbase near Tel Aviv.

Air force officials quoted in the Maariv newspaper said the stolen parts were eight engines from F-15 and F-16 fighter jets which were taken from Tel Nof air base.

They said it was not immediately clear when the theft took place, but said the parts were no longer in use and had most likely been stolen for their value as scrap metal, the paper said.

Investigators quoted by the paper said each engine weighed "several tonnes" and could only have been taken away on large trucks, prompting speculation that the thieves had help from inside the base.

Military officials quoted by Israel HaYom newspaper described the theft as "very serious."

China to strengthen military cooperation with Israel

China is willing to further strengthen military cooperation with Israel to contribute to the development of country-to-country relations, State Councilor and Defense Minister Liang Guanglie said Monday.

Liang made the remark in his talks with visiting Israeli Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

Liang said, "China values relations with Israel and is ready to expand and strengthen pragmatic exchange and cooperation between the two militaries, so as to make contributions to the further development of relations between the two countries and the two militaries."

Liang said the Chinese and Israeli people have deep traditional friendship, and the bilateral relationship has maintained a good momentum of development since the establishment of China-Israel diplomatic ties.

Liang hailed increased political mutual trust and the achievements the two sides have made in all areas through pragmatic cooperation in the past 19 years of diplomatic ties.

Barak echoed Liang's remark, saying that he hoped the two sides could expand common ground, strengthen friendship and learn more from each other through his visit.

He also pledged to lift pragmatic cooperation between the two nations' armies, and make joint efforts with the Chinese side for a better and deeper military relationship.
