75-80% Bangladeshis are anti-Indian : BNP leader

.
Bangladesh is Muslim majority country. So by default most people are anti-Indian. I would say almost 90% Bangladeshis are anti-Indian but I know Bangladesh is too insignificant for India to be concerned about it. even if 100% Bangladeshis become anti-Indian it will not affect India but affect us because we are surrounded by the giant India from literally all sides. In bay of Bengal they have two islands. Once West Bengal's name becomes 'Bengal' India will get full control over the name bay of Bengal. It is us who will get affected if all of us become anti-Indian.

Oh no. You just busted so many rat-created bubbles on PDF. Oh nooooooo!

.
Why does this never find mention, by any American or Western critic of standing? Or is it a commonplace in their discussions, and we have missed it because we are not invited to such high-level discussions?

I don't have any information about that.

But here's the statement from their Department of State:
http://www.state.gov/r/pa/prs/ps/2014/01/219331.htm

Whereas India termed it as a 'constitutional requirement'. I think they are a credible benchmark. A stark difference in opinion don't you think? But what can I say? I love democracy and I love freedom.

The Americans have at least walked the talk for now in regards to Bangladesh. Small countries like Bangladesh are largely inconsequential.

They understand very well of Bangladesh's violent political culture. The elections of 2014 were no different. And then there is this terror threat which the country hadn't faced before which has consequences.

Is it not up to you to change that violent culture? Did we not do it?

Why are you so tilted towards India, Emajuddin asks PM
Staff Correspondent | Update: 20:45, Aug 25, 2016

“Why are you so tilted towards India? We have given a lot, what more?” former vice chancellor of Dhaka University Emajuddin Ahamed asked prime minister Sheikh Hasina at a roundtable in Dhaka.

The BNP intellectual was speaking at a roundtable titled ‘Rampal power project and Sundarbans’, organised by Bangladesh Youth Forum at the National Press Club on Thursday.

He said, “The prime minister’s weakness towards India has no limits.”

“Everything of India seems sacred to her. Give up that mentality,” he appealed.

He said the Rampal project would destroy Sundarbans and called on the government to turn to solar power instead.

He said the National Thermal Power Company (NPTC) of India is a ‘rejected’ company. “There is no place for the company in Bangladesh. We are selling ourselves out to this corrupted company that promotes pollution.”

“We are grateful to your people for helping us during the Liberation War and are paying for this over the years. I think 75 to 80 per cent Bangladeshis are anti-Indian. They are anti-Indian because of your ties with the present government. The relationship should have been with the people of Bangladesh. That is the norm of international relations,” Emajuddin said, addressing Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.

“It is not too late. Make changes in the interests of the Bangladesh public. Be sensitive to our expectations,” he asked the Indian government.

Journalist Ehsanul Haque presented the keynote paper at the discussion.

He said, “Coal for Rampal project will be shipped by small cargo vessels through the Sundarbans and will burn 4.72 million tonnes of coal a year. The vessels will carry more than 13,000 tonnes of coal a day. This amount of coal will damage the Sundarbans.”

Adviser to the youth forum Akbar Hossain Bhuiyan chaired the roundtable. BNP vice chairman Selima Rahman, executive committee member Abu Naser Mohammad Rahmatullah spoke at the programme. President of the organization Saidur Rahman moderated the roundtable.

A closer look will tell you that almost all of them were hindus. It was aa systemic genocide against Hindus. And we Muslims of Bengal considered them Bengali not Hindus and fought for their honor. Anyway Thank you for hosting our refugees. We are forever indebted for that.

2. Thank you for leaving BD at the request of Sheikh Mujib as early as possible.

3. Thank you for land swaps which helped both Indians and Bangladeshis. Not a one sided affair

4. Thank you for maritime boundary agreement. However all the decisions were taken by a court of Arbitration and we got what we deaerve.

And Now you said you have done nothing wrong. let us see.

1. Insurgency in CTG with RAW help. There are books and confession from RAW agents.

2. Farakka Dam that turned Northern BD desert.

3. Refusing to sign any treaty regarding Teesta

4. Protecting A not so democratic Government

5. Also Rise of RSS Hindutva ideology has a negative effect on us.

I do not blame India for border shootings though. Smuggle Beef at own risk. However Killing a teenage girl isn't a sign of friendly neighbor.

All Indians here would know how many Bangladeshi muslims are here in India. Illegal immigrants. Both from 1971 till date. Secondly why do you point out that those refugees were Hindus ? How does it matter even if true ? Weren't they Bangladeshis ? I smell strong bigotry here.

All the reasons you have stated later are based mostly on your perceptions and imaginations. Again, stemming from inferiority complex of being small. As for the Dam or the River please drag India to Court of Arbitration in the Hague if you are so confident that we doing something wrong there. Even if we lose, as always, despite being the much bigger and stronger power we will graciously accept the decision and implement it.

Fot the first part I already explained it to Joe.

For the second part It is not my perception only. Being a Bangladeshi, I understand my countrymen better and I wrote what I understand. You do not need to lecture me.

. .
Your unreasonable hatred and insecurity just shines through when someone is trying to reasonably make a "conversation" with you but you see it as a "lecture".

If imposing your thoughts on me by declaring my views as " inferiority complex " looks conversation to you, I do not have any interest in it

Some of them would rather fight a war with us instead of taking legal action. It shows the level of confidence they have in their intelligence and education.....and are so desperate about it they actually believe they have some chance in a war instead
