The amry is in, and if action taken more problems will come for India

Do you want to say that sit idle :hitwall: :hitwall: :hitwall:

One thing For Sure the Govt. is in action and this moiast problem will be solved, just as LTTE problem was. The Bigger threat comes form Fire Buring Accross the Border,

I think the bigger problem is the problem inside your home...until you you stand united fighting from outsiders bcome more difficult.
Threat from across the border has been forever, and it will never stop....but the naxalite problem is home grown and a regular hurdle for the devlopments of rural areas...due to these naxalites innocent villagers are getting killed...though I agree with you the problem will be solved..but when ,I do not know.

Naxalites should be given the most painful death possible....bloody cowards

Kill 'em' All!!

Enough of this BS about poor tribals and discrimination, this is how they express themselves, fine its time to retaliate and Annihilate these junglees who support Mao's Ideology from China. Enough of treating these maoists as sons of soil, their masters are getting big paychecks after every killings and these dumb tribals, brainwashed by communist Pseudo-intellectuals, want to be revolutionaries, gv them a bullet in the head. let this foolish HM take some action.

As bodies of 76 security personnel, 75 of them from the CRPF, were flown to their homes in different parts of the country, the first details of what happened here early Tuesday morning emerged, suggesting that the massacre was a pre-meditated, well-rehearsed Maoist plan, helped by the fact that a three-day search operation had left the securitymen exhausted. There are also indications that standard operating procedures were ignored. The Maoists, who had zeroed-in on a spot between Chintalnar and Tadmetla, were lying in wait.

A look at the final journey of Dantewada martyrs:

We need to get hte local involved along with the police. rather than having forces retreating into the camps and then waiting for day breaks to comb the villages and roads. Operations have to be made 24 hrs day in night and police have to do 90% of the work and CRPF only called in when additnal or superior fire power is required for specific operations.

REST IN PEACE....OUR DEAR BRAVE SOLDIERS..

I don't understand when Mr Home Minister says that we won't use lethal forces against our own people (Naxals). How fukin stupid that sounds? Police force is not a lethal force?

We won't use Army against them?

Very Nettling....

If an Army man fires a gun it is lethal otherwise it is not.. sad joke..

A key reason for the CRPF’s dismal response to the Naxal attack has been their lack of training. As CPO units poured into Chhattisgarh for Operation Green Hunt, 5 battalions of the Border Security Force (BSF), 5 battalions of the Indo-Tibet Border Police (ITBP) and 2 battalions of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) were all put through jungle warfare orientation courses at Chhattisgarh’s well-reputed Jungle Warfare College in Kanker. The CRPF, inexplicably, refused to undergo this training. Neither did CRPF HQ in New Delhi order them to do so; nor did the Home Ministry.

Training at the Jungle Warfare College, as every organisation except the CRPF seems to have known, has underpinned anti-naxal operations in Chhattisgarh since 2005, when the college was set up with the help of the Indian Army. Over the last five years, Chhattisgarh has trained 12,700 policemen (including 3700 from other states) at this institution. The college’s credo: fight the guerrilla like a guerrilla.

now when mistake like these are made the outcome has to be sour like dantewada,i was going through the whole thread and one thing which i noticed was that many members want the armed forces to be used in the operation..well it really is not that easy to bring in the army fr anti naxalite operations beacuse it has implication:

1.armed forces power act will have to be imposed in that are the moment the army steps in. we would not want 1/5 of our states to be under it.

2.the message which will go the locals of the tribal area if army is used can be serious in the future during any conflict with neigbours beacuse a vast numbers of troops who join the forces come from such regions.

Now talking about the air power, the AIR FORCE can be used in a number of ways not just by encircling the area in the jungle where naxals are present and bombing the living $HIT out of them..we can use the AIR FORCE assests to locate the enemy concentration in the jungle,we can gather the electronic intelligence wit the use of UAV's,we can use the AIRFORCE for providing food water, medical supplies in the areas where the forces are stationed, use heptr for INSERTION OF COBRA COMMANDOS or forces in the naxal area's for operations....
just for example Andhra pardesh has virtually eliminated the naxals, execpt fr some small units whichare still present in the jungle credit for this goes to the GREYHOUND FORCES an elite police force trained to kill the enemy using his own tactics....the were armed appropiately for the missions trained in the counter insurgency & jungle warfare school...
they used the 3d images of the jungle area's provided by ISRO to understand locate and fix thier action plans and YES they were successful in that..

pouring forces in a haphazard manner to take on the naxals in thier own backyard is not a cake walk, they need to be outwitted using a culmination of correct tactics, innovative idea's,proper intelligence HUMINT or ELINT..

The dantewada mission had flaws in it
1.The team did not give the due attention to the provided intelligence inputs
2.was not trained to take out naxals in a guerilla warfare..
3.i think the actions plan on part of the officers conducting and the planning the operation( AREA DOMINATION) was shortsighted and casual till some extent and the naxals tok advantage of each n every single mistake they made and maginfied it 10 times more to inflict heavy damages..
but the brave men still fought hard and they should be given the due credit fr that may thier souls rest in peace

kinshuk buddy HM is correct i will explain you how

killing naxals just wont end the problem if u want to eradicate this problem you will have to cut off thier survival supply lines....
the naxals are supposedly having an annual budget around 1000 crore rupeess....:what::what: how???

They say that their source of income is donation:) which by no mean can actually give them the above estimated number thier income comes from the following things:

State transport road contractors from whom this money is exhorted, illegal mining, donation from sympathisers, poachers, alomg wit the income gained from farming opium, ganja and what not,big indirect nexus between the drug peddlers many of them based in the norther part of our country........:agree:

the biggest naxal affected states have thier own share of parallel illegal economy donating to naxals..iam giving you some estimated figures coming from states through above mentioned ways
BIHAR- 200 CRORE
JHARKHAND-150 CRORE
WEST BENGAL-200 CRORE
CHATTISGARH-140 CRORE

The above figures are an estimated figures of money flowing in for the naxals..these sources can be shut fr the naxals beause the sources from which the naxals extarct sources all are under government corruption needs to be removed and the nexsus need tobe broken do this 80% OF THE BATTLE IS WON HOME MINISTER IS HINTING TOWARDS THIS

PROBLEM NUMBER 2 weapons and explosives:

WEAPONS COME FROM LOOTING,AND ILLEGAL SUPPLY OF WEAPONS CONSIGNMENT WHICH COMES FROM COUNTRIES LIKE NEPAL AND BANGLADESH,these places are know for thier weapons bazar, throw the money u will get all what u desire to be a NAXALITE RAMBO:angel:..this problem can be sorted out by using intelligence network which is now being done since it has now become a real pain in the a$$..

LASTLY TAKE THE ABOVE MEASURES AND TRAIN THE FORCES FIGHTING THE NAXALS IN GUERILLA WARFARE ARM THEM FULLY WITH JAMMERS TO DETECT N DESTROY LANDMINES ALONG WITH APC'S AND SEE THE RESULT......:sniper::sniper:

last but not the least the area's forgotten on development path need to be shown light so that they can join us all in the main stream addressing thier problems give the ribals thier due share this should be ensured by the government r else another armed rebellion will take place.

What you are doing is not contributing to enhancing your reputation.

My reputation? and what pray would a newbie know of my reputation?

According to you everyone but you is paid off by some "blood sucking capitalist" somewhere.

Quote me exactly where i said that..

You accuse people of being on the take as if that is the only reason to have a different point of view from your own.

No, the majority of Indian members here have a different opinion than me. The reason is not that you're "on the take" but because subconsciously, members are being brainwashed by the media which is presenting a one-sided view of the conflict, without giving us all the facts.

Do you wish to know another fact? All media houses and human rights activist's are banned from entering dantewada without prior permission. Are we living in a democratic society? On what basis can the government issue such a ban? What do they have to hide?

The Media is not "on the take" but definitely is being pressured to ignore operation greenhunt. Why is this a surprise to you? Media channels and newspapers run on advertising. Just turn on any media channel and see the number of ads. This is their revenue stream. And who owns the ads? "Blood sucking capitalists"

It should be front page news, instead the last few months we have been bombarded by bs news every single day - IPL, Sania Mirza, etc etc. The only time now that the media talks of the naxals is when there is maoist attack. and even then we have to listen to the same old commentary of "Red terror" .Where is the coverage on the tribals? why aren't we being shown the opposite point of view? Why isnt the media talking about the reasons the tribals are taking up arms against the state? Why isnt there an introspection of the kind of economic policies that we have followed in these areas in the last decade which has resulted in greater impoverishment? Why isnt the Media equally critical of state violence against the tribals? The media is supposed to be fair and balanced. Is this really a fair and balanced coverage?

So it's no longer just Chidambaram; it has to be all of his cabinet colleagues(except maybe mamatha) including the PM, the BJP, the BJD and horror of horrors the CPI(M) who are all on the payroll of the "Capitalists" since surely all of them could not possibly be working on making Chidambaram's retirement a more comfortable one which was the gist of your earlier argument.

Wait, politicians on the take is news to you? We are talking of Indian politicians here. They are routinely caught on camera taking bribes - former BJP president Bangaru Laxman an example. As recently as last year MPs were accused of selling their vote in crores to vote in favour of the nuclear deal. The entire cabinet and the opposition may not be on the payroll, but there is not doubt about the fact our dear PM and home minister want to make sure the dormant mining deals become active before their term ends. As to why, you can make up your own minds.

You can put forward your point of view without necessarily reducing yourself to name calling all those who hold a different view

Name calling? I have backed up all assertions with arguments. What name calling are you talking of?

Let's have an even tempered discussion on the politics of this matter on another thread about the validity or otherwise of your arguments.

Open another thread if you wish. Doesnt really matter on which thread we debate this.

Don't dishonour the sacrifice of these men and their families by resorting to point scoring.

Empty rhetoric. Stop trumpeting some pseudo-nationalistic sentiment. This is a thread on the internet. There is no reason to hold candle light vigils here.

Secondly, the only people dishonoring those who have fallen are you lot. By calling for "blood", revenge, etc, you people are essentially saying that it doesnt matter how many more die but the naxals need to be annihilated now. Do you want more coffins? more grieving families? more suffering? Do you people not get that you can't defeat the Naxals through violence? That bringing in more forces will result in greater alienation and hence greater support for them? What will you do then, call for the annihilation of the Tribals?

I want all kinds of violence in these areas to end. The only way that can happen is by ending operation greenhunt, pulling out troops and holding talks with the Naxals. Both sides need to abjure violence, not just one. The government should also look into the demands the Naxals have made for talks to commence, not all of them are really that unreasonable.

(BTW I hope your exams went of well though i'm hoping you are not pursuing political science.)

 My exams are going badly because i spend more time on the net than studying my texts. And no, i'm not pursuing a political science degree. Trust me, someone doing a M.A in pol science would be able to explain the situation better than a literature student who uses rhetoric.

I think the best solution is to Kill 'em' All. Kick Communist Butt, put all Pseudo-intellectuals in Jail by Pulling them out of their A/C rooms!!

Thrash them so hard that they forget about revolution and beg for mercy, its been long that GOI especially Congress have been FOOLed by these agents on the payroll of leftist lobbies, these Pseudo-intellectuals get two on the Butt will forget not just about Kranti , but Mao, Stalin, Marx, Lenin, Socialism etc etc

I am a vigorous supporter of them !!!
Do never give up your guns and fight for the poor and believe you guys will have a good future!!

farmers and workers in india are poor
and they are squeezed by riches , bad landlords, and unfair caste system in India

Poor farmers have no choice but to kill these cruel polices and running dogs

they don't attack ordinary people unless you support the bad goverment which only help the riches and big landowners

They are not evil or cruel in fact if bad guys don't tyrannize them.

They wiill win in india like in Nepal if they comply the rule of "encircling the cities from the rural areas and uniting the farmers in county and workers in city" .

Again I will raise the same point-
Why They attacked the poll parties? There was no green hunt at that time. Instead of bullet they would have chosen ballot. If they are in 150 dist, they could have easily got 50 seats and pursuaded the govt to tow there line.
Its there violence which brought green hunt to there door. These massacre will be revenged.
And for all this ppl line YOU will be responsible. Who want to earn there living out of others misery.
