All these news seem so similar to the storm of such news that started to came when Aleppo was freed from Jihadist Control a couple of years back.

War is indeed brutal and barbaric. Such crimes are common in war. It's even worse in Syria's case, since their Tyrant/despot Assad has depleted most of he's weapons/supplies, so he is ready to use any weapon system(depleted weapons, barrel bombs, unguided bombs/ammunitions and any other old weapons he can get his hands on) he can to carry on the war and hang on to power. I believe he will succeed in clinging on to power thanks to Russia, Iran and its Hezbollah/Shias mercenaries from all over the region, even though he might never be the leader of a united Syria as we knew it. The country will keep being divided with too much bad blood between the people, militias/armed citizens and foreign/regional power influence/interests in the country as well.

I sympathise with your view about Syrian civilian casualties in Ghoutta, a place that has been under siege/encirclement/starvation/gassed/starved for over 6 years now. I always wondered how that city managed to hold on for so long despite all the constant barrel bombings and onslaught by Assad/ Russia, and shia militias. However, we also have to be realistic and realise that this is war and such atrocities are bound to happen, especially when it's a civil war. Sad reality.
