Afghanistan sldiers should take jungle warfare training from Indian maoists.They will give much better training than the Indian army coz these are the guys who have made the life of indian security forces hell in in the jungles of red corridor that they now find J& K much easy posting than the red corridor.

Learning jungle warfare would help us tackling threats from eastern border where insurgents frequently move on other side of the border! and thanks for trolling.

What jungles are there on the Eastern Border ? I thought the Pak-Afghan border was infested with a bunch of ravines, gullies & caves interspersed with low lying shrubs & bushes instead of something that could be called 'a jungle' in the sense of what a jungle is usually taken to be !

I guess India don't use Chinese arms

It will be mostly Russian AK series and US M-16 variants. Indian SF uses TAR but I don't think Afgan forces will be trained with one cuz it won't be availbe to Afgan forces due to high costs. On other hand AKs and US Mseries are readily availbe for Afgan forces.

Jungle warfare military school in India is hell of place. You are going to get some seriously trained soilders

They were recruiting in large numbers to reach the proposed number of 200,000 but now they are recruiting hundreds from thousands even recruits search for reference to get themselves in. Till today all contracts are made by foreigners in MoD and they are the major cause of corruption not Afghans! you know they had given a contract of $90mln for painting 11 story building!!!!

I was talking about Nuristan, Kunar, Paktia and Paktika those places have an environment equal to jungle specially Nuristan and Kunar.

Par yaraa udhher seh tou infiltration isss tarafff hotiii hai not the other way around or tumm logonn ka useee rokneii ka touu koi program nahin so whats the point ? Wouldn't it be better if you had sent guys to train under their Special Forces to carry out COIN operations in unison with whatever presence the Americans would leave behind ?

Or learning from some of their mountain divisions operating along the Indo-Pak border ?
