Forget about Mumbai for a moment. In UP, it was very clear a Maulvi instigated the violence. So any rational person can comprehend and see through all the conspiracy theories and rumours.

But here is what I want - I want the fundamentalists behind the war memorial desecration, Lord Buddha desecration and rumours which caused NE people exodus behind bars. Not the sidekicks but the main ones.

I do not want anyone trying to seek parity to divert the attention.

I do not give a damn about any religion and I am one of those who feel that I have been denied the rightful secular country which some of the supposedly esteemed leaders promised after the partition.

Now I have a made a compromise as many Indians. Let all religions live and let live. Maintain the status quo. No one should feel their religion is important than others.

Now a situation has arisen here where miscreants from a particular community has caused trouble in Mumbai and UP hurting both the sentiments of Indians and other religious people. Now I want those going behind bars and not excuse.

Either there are Hindu right wing parties or Islamic parties. period. There is no party which represents the middlepath.

BJP, Shiv Sena etc


Islamic Parties

All the pseudo secular parties - congress, SP etc


Why Congress? They are the ones who feel entitled to slam the hindu religious parties but supporting Islamic forces

Gandhi supporting Khilafat movement, Nehru reforming only Hindu laws, Rajiv circumventing the court in 1980s, DMK slamming Ram but does not say anything against Islam - Here is the contradiction - DMK are followers of Periyar but Periyar slammed both the hindus and muslims but Karunanidhi gets at only Hindu gods.

Congress conveniently aligning with Islamic parties - I can go on and on.



And if anyone brings in Babri/Gujarat here is my take on that as well.


Congress has blood as well.

Sikh pogrom - 2000 - 20000 sikhs died.
Golden temple incident - it was because Indira supported Bindaranwale and thus the cause of militancy
Kasmir Pandit exodus
Allowing illegal immigrants in Assam for votebank


So you see there are no secular parties in India. Either it is hindu right wing or Islamic right wing. All are religious based parties.

So you see when some parties pretends to be thekedar of secularism I do not trust them. In this case atleast the hindutva parties have clearly defined what they stand for whereas Congress and their likes have taken India for a ride for a long long time.

I don't think it is an either or. The best way to move foeward as a society for India is education- the more educated you are the less you will buy the BS these fools try to sell. The more educated the electorate the more work the elected have to do to address genuine malise. An elected government reflects a socety- India gets what it deserves ie idiot politicans taking advantage of vote-banks and using populist methods to stir up ignorant masses (don't hate the players hate the game)!.These politicians are playing the game that Indians have created. As more and more citizens are educated they will question the so-called leaders more and bring about change. It will happen, it is happening. India is a democracy and it will evolve as the people evolve.

exactly my thoughts.. there is no good secular parties.. you only gets decide which one is lesser evil.

problem for a secular Indian today is

if you question irrational argument or acts of Muslims you will be called as a right wing Hindu extremist and on the other hand if you question irrational anti secular act of a Hindu then you will be called as a "pseudo secular "
