Just speculations and propaganda, the Argentinians have sank a British destroyer with the Exocet missiles.. this is a well known fact..

Your second link talk about vulnerabilities faced by the US systems themselves.. nothing to do with kill switches..
and after that no ship sank

5 Ways Saudi Arabia Could Crush Iran (or Any Enemy) in a War

The backbone of the Saudi air force is the F-15 fighter: a platform that the United States itself has used for generations and a plane that is capable of carrying out the kinds of short and long-distance air sorties that may be required for a mission to succeed. According to public sources, Saudi Arabia possesses about 238 F-15 fighter planes—including a 2010 U.S. sale to Riyadh consisting of 84 F-15SA’s, Boeing Corp’s newest F-15 variant. This particular model is especially helpful for the Saudis, who are now engaged in two conflicts simultaneously. The plane’s range of 2,400 miles is particularly impressive and allows the Kingdom’s aircrews to travel to and from northern Iraq and southern Yemen without having to rely upon mid-air refueling aircraft to arrive at a target. There is no question that Saudi pilots appreciate this type of capability as they search for Houthi targets in Yemen and ISIL targets in Syria.

For Saudi Arabia, the conservative Gulf kingdom whose number one priority in the region is to keep the status quo, it’s hard not to come to the conclusion that the entire Middle East is on the fire. Indeed, if Saudi Arabia resembled a giant mansion in the middle of the neighborhood, the rest of the street would be littered with abandoned houses and empty lots. In other words, the neighborhood outside the Kingdom doesn’t look good at the moment, and King Salman bin Abdulaziz knows it.

With Syria largely split among what is left of the Assad regime and dozens of Islamist factions, Iraq in the middle of its own large-scale war with ISIL, Yemen in a state of civil war, and ISIL launching sporadic terrorist attacks on mosques and police officers in the Kingdom itself, King Salman’s number one job is ensuring that the Saudi armed forces have the equipment and support that they need. To that effect, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is doing his job quite well.

Here are the five deadliest weapons that Saudi Arabia has in its arsenal:

(Note: This first appeared in 2015)

2. The Paveway IV:

This 500-pound, precision-guided munition is perhaps one of the most accurate and lethal bombs that the Saudis possess. Thanks in part to a defense relationship with the United Kingdom, the Saudi Royal Air Force has been able to acquire the Paveway IV and use it in active hostilities—particularly in Yemen, where the Saudis are at the forefront of an Arab coalition seeking to pound the Houthi movement into submission.

The UK military describes the Paveway IV as “an advanced and highly accurate weapon that provides the RAF’s strike force with a state-of-the-art precision guided bombing capability.” The bomb is equipped with the most advanced precision-guided, GPS technology to cause maximum impact on the target, and it’s durable enough to be used eff

3. Saudi Special Operations Forces:

4. Cash:

5. Diplomatic Heft:

what do you think ???

There are various flaws to your delusions:

1st off Your number 1&2 are basically the same! An unarmed F-15 is not really worth much of anything! And deploying a fighter that cost you over $200 Million USD upon purchase without Precision Guided Weapons is a bit absurd!

2ndly Your number 3 has already lost to Iran in Syria & Iraq! So again another delusion! If Saudi Special Forces were so good backed by their Air Force they'd be able to stop a country with a GDP (nominal) of ~$30Billion USD right off their own boarder from firing Scud missiles at them! Yet they can't even accomplish that!

Finally, your number 4 & 5 are basically the same thing because without the Cash most countries in the world by the most part really don't like Saudi ideology & Saudi domestic & foreign policy and again both have failed repeatedly in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine,.... Hell Saudi Cash and Diplomatic Heft as you call it couldn't even bring Qatar to it's knees let alone Iran!

So all that's left is the Saudi Air Force and NO ONE doubts that Saudi Air force has the capability to strike at various targets in Iran! but what then?

At an absolute MAX Saudi's will be able to deploy ~150 Fighters for Air to Ground missions & it will be a combo of F-15E, Tornado's & Eurofighters capable & or equipped for Air to ground missions! NOT JUST F-15's

And what do you think Iran's response will be after the Saudi's start a war? And yes if Iran's ONLY or Main retaliatory capability was it's Air Force, Iran would be in a lot of trouble! But that's NOT the world we live in!
And intercepting Missiles aren't easier than intercepting fighter jet!

Nonsense comment. The Argentinians had five Super Etendard Maritime Strike aircraft. And only three Exocets delivered by France. They used all three missiles during the conflict. Two were fired against the RN Atlantic Conveyor, sinking it along with its expensive ordnance, Harrier jets and Wessex chopper cargo with great loss of life. The second attack was against the HMS Sheffield, a type 21 destroyer. This last strike crippled the Sheffield, and the resultant fire destroyed the ship. Only 14 year old's believe old wives tales about kill switches.
