I think we need to differentiate between pakoras and bhajis, pakoras are in my opinion shredded or minced food items mixed in a batter and deep fried in bite sized pieces. Common in our Assamese cuisine are the lentil fritters and bondakobi(cabbage), phulkobi(cauliflower), kol phool(banana flowers) and some locally available fruits like kordoi and noroxhingho paat pakoras. North and South Indian savouries are also available in stalls and restaurants.

Not really...when your parents don't live with you....you have to cook yourself naa
Same here :)
Lived alone in boarding schools and universities so I learned (from youtube & my family chef who my parents sent to help me with cooking) how to cook from simple foods like boiled & fried eggs to all sorts of difficult recipes from all cuisines (Pak, Italian, French, Thai, Mexican, Turkish, Arabic/North African), invented my own experimental dishes but approximately two years ago, I stopped cooking, I don't enjoy it anymore but I can guide someone how to cook :lol:
