What do you think about the Burmese alphabet? It is my favorite among the ones posted in the OP. Simple and elegant to my eyes at least.

It is simple and elegant but not beautiful....

Maybe I need to read it up a little more to appreciate it...

One question. ..Anybody who knows Hindi or urdu can understand both....they are almost same(even if they use different script)!!! But how??? I know hindi came from Sanskrit..n i was thinking urdu originated from middle east,n I do think it might hav gone thru lot of changes when moguls,arbs etc invaded india!!!! Can anybody help????

my original language is Shahabadi Bhojpuri, though I don't know how to speak it, but elders in my family knows & speaks it

sinhalese mostly..when speaking in english...that happens a lot here !
