I like Sinhalese only when the characters of the language are viewed independently. It starts to look not-as-nice once put together to form words and sentences. Among the languages of the subcontinent, I like the way Punjabi, Kannada, and Bengali, look. Internationally though, there is no better script than Japanese IMO.

Please note that there is a difference between alphabets and calligraphy.
I know...I just said I liked Arabic calligraphy it could mean any of the 4:

I dont like the alphabets present

I like calligraphy

I dont like Arabic alphabets

Or anything in calligraphy can look good

Then I did continue by saying I liked Chinese characters...Did you miss that bit?

My personal favourites are Devnagari and Arabic. Both are very artistic.

Some people were born n bred into a particular culture centuries ago, then they gave up their culture and religion under threat, coercion under the sword, brainwashed to the extent that they did not want to breath the same oxygen as others....And now, they stand isolated with scientific, cultural, even sports community of the world. They hardly count in the global map, in any field...If that is not enough, they contribute to global upheaval by beheading innocents and commit gender bias, misogyny on their own...What has script got to do here?
