These guys clearly have some issues. But I suppose we have idiots in all countries and in all religions. They certainly are not representative of anyone but themselves.

Any assertion made by Jews and Indians here to try to label them as representative of all Pakistanis or Muslims is refuted

How are they any different than what you post on these forums? How can you refute anything when you post langauge similar to these youths here.

Well, even if they would have (which they can't since prostitution is illegal here), it might have been on a different and loftier plane than the Mullah-brainwashed boy quietly sneaking his way amongst innocent civilians and blowing himself up. Guess, people have become so inured to the events that it seems commonplace now.

More than religion, homophobia has far more to do with culture. Most of the prominent religions of the world oppose anything to do with gays, yet they are accepted as a valuable part of society in many nations in the west. There is a general lack of understanding in many of these Asian countries, as subjects such as these are seldom up for debate; most often, relegated to cultural taboo status.
People, often times, come across as homophobic, because they don't no better...that doesn't absolve them of their mistake, but a little bit of perspective (which they ironically lack) is required in understanding why these people act the way they do. So it isn't fair to generalize any religion and group everyone together in order to prove a point. There is no shortage of Muslims, Christians and people from various other religions that get carried away; the worst thing to do is to generalize them, for generalizing others...which shows that the rest of us are no better.
Either way, wishing death or "hell" on anyone, as these men have done, is incredibly unnecessary and sad.

To go spreading leaflets saying something against Homos in a country like UK is a stupid thing to do. Muslims should quietly do Dawa
in those countries without attracting much attention. After all hostility is expected from a society where the priest of churches are

One of the accused in a TV interview, Kabir Ahmed handed out leaflets basically asked have we freedom of speech or not in this country? NEW FOUND FREEDOMS Ehh?. Well yes, the west does give you this freedom as opposed to the "shut up and suffer" regime you have suffered, but what you should be clear on is that your "religion" does not allow you to persecute and call for the extermination of people who do not necessarily fit your "Islamic" criteria. If you want to bring your prejudiced and twisted ideas into western society, where you think you have freedom; you don't have the freedom to condemn and accuse. When you understand that you may enjoy a free society, but will not rule it with your poisoned view, like Hitler did you will be a valued member of the west. If this is not to your taste, I can only advise you go back to your country where you don't have to fight such a cause because everybody who lives there is not gay????? And you will not enjoy the freedoms we offer in the west.
Basically if you want the freedoms here (and I understand you are not aware of our stronger British culture) then stay , but make yourself aware that our freedoms come at a cost over many years.

Most of you guys are a lot younger than me. Most of you have grown up in an era of much greater acceptance for gays. Many don't know what it was like 35 to 50 years ago.

Back then, gays were horrendously abused emotionally and in some cases physically. Gays lived in their closet out of a justified fear. We "normal" people mocked them, called them "f****ts" and made fun of their swishy ways. And the whole time, there were gay teens pretending to be straight and making pretty much the same fun of their more open comrades. All because straight people simply feared something without any logical reason.

I finally grew up. It took a long time. A lot of that was due to my interaction with male flight attendants, about 70% gay. They were utterly normal, usually very friendly, not "in your face" but simply comfortable in their own skin, and they were mentally healthier and happier as a result. Now, the only thing I ask is to behave conservatively, as heterosexuals have now for centuries. Don't flaunt anything, no parades in chaps with lewd behavior, keep it private, and all is cool. I just don't care anymore what consenting adults do in their homes, and neither should clergy. A gay's relationship with God is his own business.

or a mendatory gay
health insurance...
gay people are highly prone to STDs and psychogical problems.... that put extra pressure on hralth care services..Also they produce no babies....and die alone as there are no kids of theirs to take care of them and lnce again the state has to foot the bill...

You bring up a question that has baffled scientists for decades. Gayness is genetic, environment, possibly a combination. Given that gays cannot reproduce, you'd think that any genetic component for being gay would have been written out of our genome a million years ago.

Now that wouldn't apply to female gays, because in those bad old days, they'd simply be forced to reproduce by powerful males. Raped, in other words.

Gays are just filtered out bisexuals, so I'm pretty sure a larger than you expected percentage of men would have at least 1% of gay genes in them
