The only reason they are looking into this now because of what happened.

But his office recommended the sum and the court set it as such, records show.
"The state’s bail recommendation in this case was inappropriately low in light of the nature of the recent charges and the pending charges against Mr. Brooks," Chisholm’s office said in a statement. "The bail recommendation in this case is not consistent with the approach of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office toward matters involving violent crime."
Chisholm’s office did not immediately respond to follow-up questions about the outstanding warrant.

This country treats violent crime like they were just pranks and then when people are murdered, the media whines about these senseless tragedies with no resolution to change the pattern. This is sick.

This guy thought he can have a bail bond after just murdering a random father at a dinner table, he says he was high.
Yep $950 or lower in value you can get away without consequences. Hence also why you see people are brazen with theft because they know if they get caught, they be released on low bail the next day, I'm not joking. Also one of the reasons why cops got tired of arresting the same people day in and day out only to be released soon after.
And you will see more of this. 12-17 year olds doing this without fear of consequences until its too late.

That's what CNN and MSNBC are reporting, the narrative being he was just trying to get away from the police and happened to run over some people in his way. Fox news are reporting he made a lot of hateful social media posts before the incident, was a BLM supporter and Trump hater, and posted some crazy stuff about running people over and was even asking for advice on the best way to do this.
I'm guessing the truth is somewhere in the middle, but the way the liberal MSM are reporting this is very disturbing.

For sure there is genuine historical grievance. However, I blame the Democrats and fake-liberals for perpetuating a culture of dependency. NY Times recently did a shocking video--more shocking because it came from NY Times-- about how the 'liberals' in America don't really help the underdogs--on the contrary. This video has already gathered almost 4 million views.

Democrats don't care for anyone and neither do the Republicans. Republicans are more 'honest' about their bigotry. Democrats are more hypocritical.
BTW, I finally voted Republican in 2020 after decades of blind support for Democrats. The looting and riots and their excuses by my living-in-the-bubble 'liberal' friends finally opened my eyes.
Guess who is committing 99% of the physical attacks on Asians and looting Asian businesses? Guess which media is protecting these criminals?
I used to vote for the democrats but haven’t done so in a long time. I vote libertarian more often than anything else although I have voted Republican in some elections but not for trump cuz of the China flu garbage.

Yeah, I don't understand why the 'Black on Asians' is in the news lately? Maybe Asians are seen as 'soft targets'?
I think it is the 'inner city' ghetto climate which is the basic cause and the problem is compounded by the 'vote bank' politics of Democrats. I still can't believe how blindly I had supported Democrats for decades.
Ghetto people attack anybody they think is a soft target. We are entering a period where our urban areas are basically lawless because of the Democrats soft on crime policies. So Asians are getting attacked because they are seen as having cash or old Asian people are seen as weak targets. Latino workers and street vendors also get attacked viciously. It's not just Asians.
These people are truly evil and demented honestly. They just have predatory parasitic instincts with no conscience or ethics. Kindness, generosity and wisdom do not exist in their world.
