Nice avatar. Better than the "ape" ( ). Just joking.
Well, I am interested in your opinions about what I wrote at the beginning. Post 8 in particular. You are the senior here so I am curious.
BTW Lebanon should be included in that list that has Iraq, Syria and Yemen.
You can't compare Israel with Kurds. It's a joke comparison (no offense) for so many reasons.
Let us see. I doubt that they will be very successful. Might become independent but so what? As long as the disputed areas are returned to the rightful owner (Iraq) most will move on. It's a bigger problem for Turkey and Iran potentially due to many more Kurds and bigger Kurdish majority regions.
I'm not comparing the Kurds to Israel. I'm just pointing out that the Americans can make certain arrangements which accommodate Kurdish independence and security among its supposed neighbors. That is no different than the Israeli situation.
It is a huge problem because the Iraqis would naturally not approve the annexation of oil rich regions from their land. Saying that Iraqis will move on from such a scenario is wishful thinking. Iran and Turkey have similar problems, but they are politically and economically stable. Comparing them to Iraq is like comparing apples and oranges.
Thats your opinion

We have to release this man and put him in charge of MoD, he knows how to deal with the Kurdish problem
It is not my opinion, but the opinion of most Iraqis.
