As for Pakistan doubling it's GDP by trading with Bharat, yes that's within the realm of possibilities, but quite simply we don't need it. With CPEC we can have 7% growth in a few years and 8-9% percent by early to mid 2020s. Quite simply that will be enough to triple the GDP by about 2027.

Also keep in mind Pakistan's economy hasn't been rebased since 2004 or so. We are looking at adding 100-150 bn to the GDP once that happens.

I do not know if Pakistan will improve the GDP if you trade with India

I know CPEC is a label for a bunch of projects that do not make sense. I am not getting into arguments on CPEC. I will let Pakistanis see for themselves in a few years.
