Hinduism is one of the oldest relegion and mythology is one of its many branches but not most imp branch which is based on puranas just like Greek mythology so i don't see any issue unless they are forcing their views on others.

so plz refrain from criticizing others belief unless you have all the answers regarding Islam.

the height of Indian PM's stupidity, to claim a mythological story as history or scientific, most of these myths aka puranas were written to camouflage the conversion Tamil Indus valley gods and their religious beliefs into Aryan Sanskrit mythology. Aryans vedic gods were sky dwelling super heroes where as Indus Tamil gods were positioned on earth and accessible to human.
