35th PARA Meet 2010 commences
ISLAMABAD, Mar 3 (APP):The 35th Pakistan Army Rifle Association (PARA) Central Meet 2010 commenced at Jhelum on Wednesday. Inspector General Training and Evaluation Lieutenant General Ahsan Azhar Hayat inaugurated the event, said a press release issued here. The PARA Meet is the biggest shooting competition in the country in which approximately 1200 shooters from Army, Navy, PAF and Civil Shooting Federations participate. The shooting competitions will continue for 25 days and conclude on 27th March 2010. There are a total of 35 teams contesting for 21 Matches. About 13 Army Matches, 4 Inter Services Matches and 4 National Matches will be held during the mega shooting event. Trophies for Biggest Military Shooting honour "The Master at Arms Trophy" and the Biggest National Shooting honour "The President's Cup" will be awarded at the concluding ceremony...................................................
