33 giant Chinese infrastructure projects that are reshaping the world

A huge change is underway in China.

Over the next 10 years, the country plans to move 250 million people — the equivalent of Indonesia's entire population — into the country's rapidly-growing megacities.

To accommodate that enormous migration, the country has invested billions of dollars in massive infrastructure projects. Some are already complete, while others are still in the works.

From highways that span the continent, to the largest wind power base in the world, to enormous airports, to new cities in the desert, China is showing what it really means to do big things.

If Wuhan's Railway Station and Yangtze bridge can be among top33, then this list should be 333 or even 3333.
It is not even among top30 in China's high-speed railway stations....

The next stage of China will not dominated by huge infrastructures but science development.I'm very glad to see the Pingtang telescope here.

If I vote,the Chinese Space Station which will built in 2020 and Chinese Quantum Science Satellite would be my choice.

Cross border highways....
So in China, it's about modern expressway with controlled access.
But at the other side of border, it's crappy roads....
Nothing impressive!!!
Better just talk about China's own expressway system.....117,000km by the end of 2015.
Our next goal is 169,000km by the end of 13th 5-year plan (2020), also the year of radical poverty alleviation.

The total length will increase by 37% (46,000km).
Among them, Inner Mongolia, Guangdong, Guangxi, Gansu and Hebei provinces will each witness an increase of more than 2600km.

2016 is the first year of 13th 5-year-plan. The new projects starting construction in 2016 reach 9615km (non-exhaustive). 36% in Southwest, 18% in East, 17% in Northwest!

Beijing-Hefei-Fuzhou high-speed rail corridor is much "greater" in terms of technology.
