300 AIM-9M Tactical Missiles for Pakistan

In a Pentagon contract announcement Raytheon Systems d/b/a Raytheon Systems Co., Tucson, Ariz., is being awarded a $29,443,350 ceiling-priced modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-03-C-0003) for 300 AIM-9M tactical missiles and 10 captive air-training missiles for the Government of Pakistan under the Foreign Military Sales Program.

Work will be performed in Tucson, Ariz. (93 percent) and Andover, Mass., (7 percent), and is expected to be completed in August 2007. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

I dont think so, but Pakistan will be getting lots of them ordered by batch to batch. This way they will be enough. However, once we get SD-10 we will be able to produce them at home.

WASHINGTON: The U.S. Navy said on Thursday it had awarded Boeing Co. a &#036;62.5 million contract to supply Pakistan with 50 Harpoon anti-ship missiles and related equipment.

Forty of the missiles are to be air-launched versions.

The contract also includes some Harpoon-related military exercise equipment for Japan and Australia with a combined value of less than &#036;1 million. The work is expected to be completed in June 2006.

You guys really think that 300 AIM-9M Tactical Missiles for Pakistan is enough to last whole year? We will have 77 F-16s plus JF-17 might will get modified to carry it. So think about it..

That will be a dream. Current rumours are no AIM-120 for PAF even if funds get allocated.

I heard that US is disagreed to sell AIM-120 or AIM-9X with 75 F-16s, with out AMRAAM the performance of viper is still a question?
