What's new

30 Secs is all it takes..

The World’s Hardest Tongue Twister, According to Guinness Book of World Record.

“The Sixth Sick Sikh’s Sixth Sheep is Sick.”

Here's another one

Try to solve this puzzle.
Apparently only people with an IQ over 120 are able to figure it out ...
Keep your brain active and think about it:
If...
2 + 3 = 10
7 + 2 = 63
6 + 5 = 66
8 + 4 = 96
Then:
9 + 7 = ????

9 * (9+7) --> do the math....

come on...

I don't know about the IQ tests at all....
let me ask you (jonasad) one thing....
Is it true that people who solve this are having an IQ above 120 ?
I can't believe it... I thought IQ tests are something great (it may be that in this one and the rest of questions in this forum I got lucky), and they make your brain work like anything...

This question really belongs to that above 120 category ?
Even some kid could solve this if it simply sits and observes the pattern...

Guys tell me one thing what is the rationale behind this IQ measurement ?

W/O knowledge the logic is not much meaningful.

So why do people measure IQ instead of knowledge ?

Next Puzzle:

Find the next in the series:

1,11,1211,111221,?,.....

no googling ;)

wow, i solved everything in a few secs except this one.

and btw, i am not an engineer, but i solved the 1,2,6,42,1806 one in about 45 secs. had to use a calculator though

For me, finding 6 is more difficult than finding C and N.
The lines including C and N is shorter than other lines, so just focus on one line is OK, they are easy to be found than 6.

9 * (9+7) --> do the math....

Well since i solved it and i believe that my IQ is above 120 so hell yeah its true :yahoo:

knowledge can be achieved over time.
IQ is inborn; a calculation of how quick your brain can actually pick up knowledge

This is a mathematical challenge, and it's been said that:

* If you're an engineer, you should be able to solve it in (under) three minutes,
* if you're an architect, in three hours ;
* if you're a doctor, in six hours ;
* if you're an accountant, in three months and
* If you're a lawyer, probably never.

What is the missing number in this logical series?

1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, ____???
3263442

I was surprised to figure that out myself since I'm bad with maths.

Profession? Well I belong to a Software Development background.

Simple .....3263442 ...(1804*1804 + 1804)

Engineers rock.!!!!!
Thats not how I did it, although your way looks better

1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, 3263442

(1 + 2) x 2 = 6
(1 + 6) x 6 = 42
(1 + 42) x 42 = 1806
(1 + 1806) x 1806 = 3263442

Well the plus one ensures we're both crunching the same numbers.

Knowledge can be achieved over time, yes it is true and knowledge shows the amout of hardwork one has put.

IQ is not inborn, I differ from your point of view. IQ comes by practice of solving the problems.

wow finally a person from Pakistan and a person from India are differing on a point which need not call for arms. :cheers:
