30 Hindu temples demolished in Vijayawada

I was speaking about the following post of yours...
I just wanted to know why you said so...

Well....
I'm not sure if you know of the Devaswom board in Kerala. It manages the temple, it's "assets" and ensures smooth functioning of the temples.
Guess what?
It's a govt organisation.
Do we have any such govt run organisation which takes care of what's happening in mosques and churches???

Are you aware that even Waqf boards which look after Islamic sites are appointed by the Government and decisions are taken only after consultation with Government. So Government effectively controls them. Let me also tell you that infact many sites are encroached because corrupt board members along with politicans sell off these properties illegally and no bats an eye. I am listing a few of such scams....

You are being dubious as usual.
All Wakf members are muslims. And no, Wakf does not mean all mosques are under it. Please educate yourself.

Let me tell you the differences.

1. Endowment act allows govt to hire muslim, Christian or Atheist to work in any temple administration. Not the case with Mosques and Churches. You won't find anyone else except their faith working in them.

2. Endowment act allows govt to collect all the funds of the temples and release any amount back to temple development. For Example in 2014, only 10% money collected in temples was given back to develop temples. Rest 90% was utilized for non-Hindu dharmic activities of the govt. In effect govt used temple money for subsidies, which have nothing to do with Hinduism and temples. NOT the case with mosques and Churches. Any money collected will stay with them and not the govt.

3. Endowment act allows temple property to be used in any manner by the govt. Numerous cases of this land being leased for other religious activities is rampant. Not so with mosques and churches.

simply put, what right has the govt got to use temple money to anything except for propagation of Hinduism?

Why did RBI get curious only about the wealth of temples?
I'm of the opinion that this wealth is a dormant asset, and considering the economic turmoil India is facing, this wealth should be utilised.
Since India is a secular and democratic country, ppl like me do wonder why did RBI take interest only in Hindu temples???

So what wealth does Waqf properties generate? Are they not accounted for? What makes you think that Government does not look in to waqf properties? And the article clearly states the following

"When contacted in Mumbai, the RBI spokesperson Alpana Killawala admitted that they have written to these temples but clarified that “the objective of the letter is to collect data and mentioned that in the RBI statement issued on September 1, there is no proposal under its consideration (to buy gold and bullion from temples).”

And why shouldn't there be these checks considering the scams and illegal dealings within these institutions...

Did you miss my line that these "dormant assets" of temples should be utilised???

My question was is govt equally alert when it comes to minorities?? Why just Muslims?what happens to churches? And other religious places.

.
Search for Bhojshala...
See the temples history and read the pathetic condition of Hindus wanting to worship here. Even after thousands of instances like this, Hindus have not turned to terrorism and as a religion we must be proud of that face.

In any other nation, this would have been a national monument.
Only In India, appeasement politics comes into play.
