He has all the security threat not just from India but also from double faced politicians from Balochistan. Since we have so much of compromising policy when it comes to political arena; current threat needs more & more Shafiq but unfortunately, his safety lies in staying low. Locals still support Uniform Personnel similar to how Tribal hunted TTP in North along side Military. Assassination of Raisani is clear evidence as how they are threatened with life but still these patriots don't step back. On other hand, corrupt Sardars needs to be dealt in the meantime otherwise, we will be at risk to such attacks all the time or unless not even a bird can cross the border (complete border fencing).

Akhtar mengal is the one leading the herd of those mean & selfish Sardars that sometimes, I do not doubt that they will even provide necessary assistance to sabotage any progress and prove themselves being righteous about those so-called beneficial demands from State.

In my opinion, the State assist them if they joins the fight but don't know why; there's been something like one doesn't want to call these shots at-least for the time being. May be it is about the precautionary measure as not to create another monster from within or may be the man may not become a loose cannon... I am just trying to scratch the rust and could be wrong though. Or may be, State stopped the necessary assistance due to heat from Western Establishments & propaganda against people like Shafiq Mengal.

all lot of factors that led us to leave people like Shafiq Mengal.
Shafiq is Brohi Deoband, he is accused of running terror camps in Wadh and his fighters are used to launch attack on Iranian security forces. He is also accuse of sectarian violence in Balochistan as well as Iran. A mass grave was discovered on the outskirts of his dera in his hometown Wadh, although no direct connection has ever been made.

so our foreign policy alliance with interests of Iran are one factor to let go of Shafiq. Another major factor is the campaign against Shafiq within the country, as he was a hot topic for people like Akhtar Mengal, Hamid Mir, Jibby & Qadeer Mama. Hence everything had to be brushed under the carpet.
