ISPR only claimed ONE indian pilot to be arrested and in medical care. As I stated above, DG ISPR said two pilots in the press conference but IMMEDIATELY after Press conference clarified that there was a miscommunication and only ONE indian pilot is with Pakistan.

Within few hours of shooting down of jets, we officially declared ONLY ONE pilot in our custody and clarified the miscommunication.

This is the very definition of "immediately" in any military conflict zone (unless you expect a live stream from the air battle itself)

Just today I was thinking the same thing. Telling Indians that your pilot is killed by Pakistan forces would put immense pressure on India government to act and retaliate.
The public pressures would be too much for Indian government so maybe Pakistan gave India this chance of handling over the dead body quitely.
