RIYADH – More than 284,000 illegal foreigners have been deported since Nov. 4, 2013, according to the Ministry of Interior.

This is in addition to 22,189 foreigners currently awaiting deportation at detention centers in various parts of the Kingdom.

The crackdown started at the end of a seven-month grace period granted by Custodian of the Two Holy Months King Abdullah in April for illegal expatriates to rectify their residency and work status.

The ministry said security authorities also foiled attempts by more than 102,000 people to sneak into the country during the period.

Meanwhile, about 500 unregulated foreigners were arrested during an 8-hour raid carried out by security forces in three districts of Riyadh on Wednesday. They included 10 people wanted by police for their alleged involvement in various crimes.

The Riyadh police arrested 700 illegal residents including 12 wanted men and a group of bootleggers in a major crackdown in Al-Unooz district in the capital on Wednesday.
The police had started raiding neighborhoods in Thulaimi, Amal, Rail and Hara districts on Monday.
The raid on Wednesday lasted for 24 hours in an old industrial area with many illegal workers.
According to the police, those arrested included runaways, workers with forged documents and others facing criminal charges from Yemen, Pakistan, India and Bangladesh. About 200 vegetable and fruit vendors were also arrested, the police said.
Prior to the raid, the police cordoned off the area to facilitate inspections and prevent suspects from running away.
The police arrested 9,000 illegal workers during other raids in the Hai Al-Wazarah area, mainly Asians from Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The police also raided several shops and restaurants and arrested Egyptian, Indian, Sudanese and Pakistani workers.
The operations are being carried out on the orders of Riyadh Gov. Prince Khaled bin Bandar and Deputy Gov. Prince Turki bin Abdullah.
The police have been conducting raids in cooperation with various security and government agencies including the Ministry of Commerce, Passports Department and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority.
In the Eastern Province, the police arrested 19,425 violators over the past three months, said Col. Ziad Al-Ruqaiti of the Eastern Province police.
Al-Ruqaiti said that various agencies were working to track down and arrest labor law violators across the province.
“The local police department is seeking everyone’s cooperation in reporting violators to stop this phenomenon,” he said.
Two weeks ago, the Eastern Province police announced that they arrested 1,900 labor law violators in a single week.

Saudi Gazette report

DAMMAM — Security bodies have detained 378 violators of residency and labor regulations during a crackdown campaign in Dammam.

According to Al-Yaum newspaper, security bodies received reports that a large number of illegal expatriates were gathering in the Al-Souk neighborhood. These reports were verified and security bodies set up a plan to storm the neighborhood and flush out all illegals.

The campaign, which was conducted with the participation of the traffic police, the labor office and the municipality, also resulted in the arrest of a drug dealer and an illegal expatriate who was impersonating a security guard.

A total of 18 police officers and 205 support personnel were involved in the campaign, in addition to 65 vehicles and buses.

The head of preventive security in Dammam, Col. Hamad Al-Suqoor, said the campaign was one the best organized campaigns conducted.

The deputy head of Dammam's preventive security, Col. Bassam Al-Bassam, said the Al-Souk neighborhood is one of Dammam's most crowded areas and is full of illegal residents.

“The appropriate legal procedures will be applied to these illegals, including those who have provided shelter to them,” he said.

Eastern Province police spokesman Col. Ziyad Al-Reqaiti said police will continue its campaigns to detain violating residents, noting that a total of 19,425 violators have been detained so far.

He asked for the cooperation of the public in notifying security bodies of any such violators.

Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti, spokesman for Eastern Province police, said 32,015 expatriates have been arrested in the province’s various cities, governorates and villages for violation of residency and labor law since the launch of the inspections campaign.
He said the arrested persons have been handed over to the directorate and branches dealing with illegal expatriates affiliated with the Eastern Province. He said the participating authorities include the passport and labor offices.
Law enforcement authorities are continuing with their efforts to arrest expatriates in violation of the rules through intensive field campaigns and raids that are targeted at locations harboring violators. Special teams conduct field campaigns and raids acting on information about the existence of illegal expatriates in certain locations.
Al-Ruqaiti warned citizens and residents against harboring law violators, or hesitating to report any violations. He added that security campaigns will continue until the phenomenon of violation is eliminated.
Mohammad Al-Faleh, director general of the Ministry of Labor in the Eastern Province, said that the total number of arrested violators since the start of the follow-up campaign reached 1,586 violators in the Eastern Province. Those arrested have been handed to the directorates and branches of expatriate detention centers of Eastern Province police.
He said 851 people were in violation of Article 39, which concerns working for people other than the sponsor; 60 were in violation of Article 38, which is concerned with working in professions that are not specified in the passport, and 675 in violation of Article 25, which has to do with fictitious employment.
Al-Faleh’s remarks came after a number of officers and administrative officials were honored for their outstanding performance in the labor correction campaigns launched by the Ministries of Labor and Interior.
Prince Saud bin Naif, governor of Eastern Province, his deputy Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz and the minister of labor issued directives to form a higher security committee under the presidency of Khaled Al-Battal, the province’s secretary-general. The committee will meet once a month to overcome any obstacle in the way of correcting labor market anomalies.

Excellent news. Keep deporting those unwanted elements and people who steal our jobs. Zero tolerance policy.

Hopefully in a few years there will be no illegals anymore.

 morons ruined the song..

Also post the youtube link bro... cant see crap.

Well, there are some Arabic songs with nearly 30 million views on Youtube and some Arabic songs mixed with English that have become famous worldwide but I don't remember their names. Many mixtures of songs and various compilations.

Just type Arabic Traditional music / موسيقى موشحات وقدود حلبية on Youtube. Really relaxing.

There is a lot of Arab rap from the over 20 Arab countries but I have not much clue about it since whenever I
listen to rap I listen to American one.

اغنية الامير عبد القادر الشاب عز الدين type this on youtube. You might like this kind of Arab Maghrebi music as well. Has a lot of rhythm.

I am more of traditionalist also when it comes to music.
Oh, the Spanish/Arab mixtures are also amazing. Andalusian music is very similar to Arab music and in general Spanish due to the nearly 1000 year long cultural ties. About 20-25% of all Spanish and Portuguese vocabulary can be traced to Arabic and the pronunciation is identical when it comes to many letters.

Time to crush more skulls ah? This forum works perfectly for that. After all there are limits to how much time you can spend on something such as chemical engineering despite chemistry being known as the "central science".

In all seriousness the illegals annoy me. My cousin just called me a few hours back and said that some illegals robbed him and his wife's villa while they were away. Turned out that the two caught were Ethiopians and serial robbers in the neighborhood. Most of the crime is due to them. It's sad that it must come to this but it can't be ignored anymore.

I do like Horn of Africans a lot otherwise but the few rotten apples do give them a bad reputation which is a shame.

It's in the interest of all parties. The natives and LEGAL migrant workers.
KSA has been FAR to lenient on them. More than any prosperous country I can think about. Can't go on.

Brother Al-Hasani, this is really cruel. Even poor Pakistan has millions of foreign refugees and immigrants. What's wealthy Arab Sharif's excuse?

What is cruel about deporting illegals that have had every chance to stay as legal migrant workers? No country tolerates illegals. Besides don't you worry. The real population of KSA probably exceeds 35 million largely thanks to illegals.

Not everyone in KSA is rich but for instance the poor class in KSA, which is indeed not as poor as the poor class in 90% of all Muslim countries, are being outsourced and thus in difficulty due to illegals outsourcing them and taking their jobs. Not only that the illegals threaten the well-being of the legal migrants.

It is also undeniable that many illegals engage in criminal activities which is also unfortunate.

Also this is not about Arabs or non-Arabs. Thousands of illegal Arabs from nearby Yemen, Egypt, Sudan etc. have been deported.

Nobody is killing them or doing them any physical harm. In an ideal world there should not be any illegals and the countries they are escaping from should help them but we all know that this is not happening. But KSA already has millions of illegals as well aside from the legal workers. We simply do not need more nor can we afford to have more. Some of the illegals have been absorbed to our society. They have been living for generations inside KSA.

For instance how do you tell an Afro-Arab, that form 10% of KSA's population, apart from an illegal Sudanese or Somalian family that have lived in KSA for 2-3 generations? It's impossible without any documents.

Arab/Spanish/French mix. This is apparently the group of José Manuel Pinto. The second goalkeeper of FC Barcelona. If you know them.

There is a whole genre in music that deals with Arabic/Spanish mixtures due to the many similarities. Especially when it comes to Andalusian music.
