I believe Indians were terrified of what Pakistan would do.That's why their foreign minister said they wanted no further escalation.Also there was a sudden realization in their media on 26th evening that they had stirred the hornet's nest and so they were advising their nation to be mindful and hell yeah the very next day turned out to be the day of eternal mourning for Indians.This points to one thing , Indians would piss their pants true flagging something against Pakistan and would rather stick to false flags.
