The Supreme Court on Wednesday upheld the death sentence of Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab in the Mumbai terror attacks case. Dismissing Kasabs plea that he was not given a fair trial in the case, the court said waging war against the country is the primary and foremost offence committed by Kasab. We are left with no option but to uphold the death sentence of Kasab.
The court also observed that not providing counsel to Kasab at pre-trial stage did not vitiate his trial in the case
