First six of the forty F-16s landed in Pakistan at Sargodha Air Base on January 15th, 1983.
Two months later, all six participated in Pakistan day parade with the then ACM Anwar Shamim leading the flypast and Wing Commander Amjad Javed performing air display in one of the aircraft at the conclusion of the parade.... in earnest the F-16 has now been a spearhead of the PAF for almost 35 years.
