Nuclear weapons are not ALL bad. They have kept us from having a third World War. I don't think there have been any intense wars between nuclear armed states. Did both India and Pakistan have nuclear weapons at the time of Kargil? I don't remember. Anyway, today, nations see having nuclear weapons as their best self defense weapon. Well, Nukes are for bluff and not to be really used but Nukes are tye worst thing to have when u understand that several incident have actually brought us very very very close to a real nuclear war.

Nuclear weapons are meant to dter us from war, but History shows us that when it comes to real times countries do forget the cost of a nuclear war.
