Actually the CCP has warned of that and took a harder line, this isn't really an ideologically thing if they excuted a drug dealer or a corrupt officie it's not ideological, China and Mao have gone different ways, no you don't know what you are saying corruption is in the CCP not doubt they admitted it and went after their offices.

who said anything about petty crimes related to ideology...im only referring to there within party executions.
the amount of cases coming up ...one would wonder if there should have been more executions.
relating to much of the scams surfacing ...like the Railway scam..there red pad controversy.

NO matter what news comes out ...there is not enough will within the CCP to actually prosecute the heavy hitters within the party.

its funny how Switzerland and most black money havens are ranked high on the corruption index

Ok look at this both high officials executed for bribes and corruption I have stated this before they go after within the party look here, also what you posted was the guy getting slacked and arrested if he gets found guilty he will have a huge price on himself that means death penalty or Jail.

State-run Xinhua news agency reported that he used his power to interfere with project contracts and to help companies and people obtain land, promotions and tax breaks.
The 52-year-old was sentenced to death in May for taking almost 200m yuan in bribes and embezzled funds.
Jiang, 62, was given the death penalty in 2008 for taking more than 100m yuan in bribes.
The two cases are not linked, but both men were earlier reported to be members of the Communist Party.

Now also what you posted is the guy getting slacked he is arrested and looking into the case if he gets found guilty he will have big consequence even execution.

yea i can see tht a show has been delivered to the people.
But ur BBC article states clearly-->

Corruption is one of the main causes of public discontent in China. Hundreds of officials are convicted every year.

But only a handful are executed,.

im still not convinced ..most executions are ,but just drops in a bucket.

Switzerland just stores the money.

Handful Goes to the serious cases however the lower cases if serious go to execute however corruption is serious.
Have to see then on the executes.
it is I stashed a few bucks myself in Switzerland anyway this is getting tiring done on this thread .
