It did and it was great one but along came Zia ul **** who F'd up the film industry with his Arabi written laws.

He said we Pak Muslims don't need films, I am going to turn this country into suspense thriller full of tragedy for the whole world to see.

Well, we are playing out this film while the whole world watches in terror.

Hindu movies are imposed upon Pakistan by Zardari regime.

replace word Zardari with Musharraf....

I saw posters of bollywood movies in my local city when Zardari was still behind bars. Remember when Kabhi khushi kabhi ghum was released? many years ago I guess... that was also released in Pakistani cinema

So now you just changed a name and you are saying they were imposed on general populace of Pakistan. Were people forced to watch them. The logic is simple. If you dont like them dont watch them. There is product only when there is demand.

Now dont come up with no its not TTP its Lashkar e Jhangvi which is blowing up people for not watching Indian films.

Hindustan Times lifted the news straight from Express Tribune.

Lollywood: Only 12 films released this year – The Express Tribune

BATMAN is a mushy lover! so mushy can not do anything, everything done by zardari!

i am sure this batman guy watches bharti movies! :hitwall:

Worst year for movies and best year for Pakistan. Less movie is better.

Just curious: Do Indians watch Pakistani dramas.

I recently saw a full two page guide on Slackistan in a widely circulated London paper called Metro.

The editorial was positive and the additional articles on Pakistan were done very well too.

Similarly we have a few good films that will release in the nest year so fingers crossed, they help us concentrate on making quality films.

and that is because???????????????????

Just curious: Do Indians watch Pakistani dramas.

Used to watch previously but not these days. "Bakra kisto pe ...." was one of the hot favorite in India and you can still find it in old shops. But as of now with the number of releases in India along with the number of channels the demand for dramas have reduced to almost nil.

Bol by Shoaib Mansoor will be releasing in January and we know how good he is.

We also have a film by Syed Noor in the pipeline and a few others, so lets see.

There is also Freedom Sound:

There is also Chup starring Shaan which has a lot of talent behind it.

and that is because???????????????????

because movies are waste of time. they show napak scenes.

You mean non-pak scenes I gather... you can't be serious about the napak scenes in the movies... are you from the past?
