What's new

20 July 1974 * Operation Attila *

I'll repeat my question, because no one answered it; why do we currently keep M48s in Cyprus against the Greek T-80's?

Altay will replace all the M48 Tank´s :)

We have over 1000 of them so 1000 Altay´s will Roll On :)

Yes but a T-80 can handle 10 M48 Tanks , it´s Armour and Aim Time is enough for that and it´s too a modernized Version as Opponent to the M48.

Old military parade video from other 20 July..

Please look 07:59 and 09:26..Turkish stars are awesome !!

@MrTopal27

I think on the Start on the Video they are Showing some TOW´s Missiles ,they are too enough but we have enough F-16´s that can support the Ground Forces from Turkey like in 1974.

Yes but i ithink Hellfire is too enough for that T-80 ´s :)

Or some HARM from F-16´s :)

no mate no. HARM stands for High Speed Anti Radiation Missile. I'm not gonna write down all the specs. But simply it's a radar-killer. We have 2 types of this "anti-radar, anti-jammer, anti-radio thing":

AGM-88 HARM

AGM-142 Popeye (Have Nap [US Desig.]) *Israeli origin, manufactured by TAI*

in fact the thing is our newest tank is 25 years old (Leopard 2A4) and the oldest one is 56 (M48T2)...

PS Altay in Roketsan tarafından geliştirilen Zırh Sistemi, Haziran ve Temmuz aylarında yapılan testleri başarıyla geçmiş...

.
Forget our tanks being old or our new helicopters are whatnot.

What the Greeks are scared about is thousands of years old. Our main weapon is the Heroic Turkish People!
